I purchased a new 2015 Sportsman 1000 and noticed there is a 1 second delay berfore the EBS kicks in after you let off the throttle?

None of my other quads did this and I’m trying to find out if it should do this and if it is normal.*

Anyone else’s 1k do this?

Anyone ever rig up reverse light on their bike? Went riding the other night in the wood behind the house. Pitch black, I’m talking couldn’t see 3 feet behind me when im backin up, may sound stupid, but I’d like to put a reverse light to see when back up.

What is the correct valve lash setting for this engine? Gonna pull off valve cover and check the valve lash?

Hi can any one tell me about fitting a led light bar to the front brush bar on the XP 1000. I’ve just got an 11 inch light and want to mount it up but i was just wondering if there is all ready a standard plug fitting for the (genuine light bar) or do i have to splice in to other wires. All so will i have to run an extra relay or can i run straight of the existing hi beam wires thanks

Anybody out there running tire chains? I don’t need them for plowing because our driveway is gravel and traction isn’t a problem. The issue I have is hauling wood or dragging a deer up from the back.

Basically I’m looking for advice or reviews on tire chains.

So we did 2 pass today racing side by side 2 atv, it was in heavy soupy clay, so anyways on the second run it made it then on the way bck I heard some clunking noise, ofc I held it still wide open, its a race so anyways when we got bck in the heavy stuff heard a loud toc and stripping noise and the bike stopped moving so assuming over time my chain stretch to the point the automatic tensioner got max out and snap the chain any heavier duty solution out there, hopefully nothing major

Chain probly stretch from pulling out bikes with the 30s inch will stop doing that and use more winch I guess

I installed the qsc adjustable clutch kit last weekend and it is a night and day difference.
I’m currently running 28" kenda htr’s on my 1000. I used the small shim on the primary spring and get about 1850-1900 engagement. The low end is incredible , the front wheels lift when moving at 5-10 mph when full throttle . The mid and top end is insane ,once rolling the engine holds 7000rpm and pulls hard .This 800lb + quad feels like a sport quad with this kit .Also ryan at qsc was very helpful and knowledgable about his product .
