Well I rode in the dark tonight to try out led headlights and rode about 35mph for about 4 miles and got back home and I think my muffler might of got warm?

It’s not uncommon for it in my car to have some oil in the intake due to oil lines cooling the turbo and some blow by to occur, but to find it on the 1k was a little unexpected. The filter was pretty much just sitting in oil, but post filter seemed good…no oil. So my question is how screwed am I, or is this somewhat normal? I’m $1400 shipping via boat to the nearest dealer.

Lost the key to my ’14 550xp so I went to Polaris dealer for new ignition….picking up a new matte white ’15 1000 xp today, expensive ignition!!

After reading a few threads here thou…I’m having some buyers remorse lol, r there really that many issues??!

I’m having them install hand/thumb warmers prior to pickup and thinking 26" bighorns and and exhaust at some point. R the bighorns taller than stock (I know both r 26")??

Hey guys, so i’ve had my new 1000 for about a week now and i’ve already noticed that some mud and sand are getting in the rad. Have any of you been mudding or at least in some mud and have you had this problem? Any solutions? I have been rinsing it out after every ride but that only does so much.

Any advice would be much appreciated!

Looking to replace my 08 800 this year,the 1000 sportsman is what i would like or the 1000r outty.Now that can am has upped the HP on the 1000r to 89 just wondering what everyone thinks polaris will do…or will will they wait till next year to up there HP????seems like lately they like to stay on top with there HP!

Just wondering what anyone is doing about their exhaust system overheating. Our wheeler has been in the shop 3 tomes for the exhaust overheating and melting the plastic. Polaris industries has had our local dealership replace the same part going on 3 times now. It has been in the shop more hours then we have put on it. Now polaris will not talk to us about it. Anyone else having these problems? Anyone know how to deal with polaris? We are paying for a machine that we can’t use. Kinda frustrating. Polaris doesn’t seem to care to much.

Hey everyone, I like to read the forum to see what people think of the polaris machines but most people only come on here to complain or find a fix, which does make sense but I’m making this threat to hear about the positives!
Tell me about how much you love your sportsman!
I’ve had mine for 4 days now and i can’t believe how fast this thing is, it’s absolutely ridiculous!
Also, the seat, suspension, and power steering is soooo nice on the trails.

Let me know what you guys think, I’d love to know! :biglaugh:
