I was in the dealer and saw the seat on the premium 570 I was just wondering if it fits on the base 570 I also went online and looked at prices but noticed the parts list said seat cover does that mean I can buy just the skin?
Just got my new wheels!!! STI HD4’s and Bear claw EVO’s 26 x 9 -14 on front and 26 x 11 -14 on back. Looking for clutch kit next. We do a lot of trail riding so I’m looking for something that will make me pull harder out of the corners and be able to ride wheelies in high again. I can still lift the front pretty easy in low but not high anymore.
Got my 570 back from the dealer. It was in for warranty work, and they claimed that they noticed that it was creeping ahead when it was idling in gear.
They told me they fixed it, and i mentioned that it was tough to shift, in my opinion, because it is revving too high at an idle. Makes sense, advanced idle is grabbing the belt a bit, and making it creep. I own snowmobiles, it happens.
The dealer told me they didnt notice any revving issue.
When you first start it, it goes to about 1300-1350 rpm. 1350 mostly. As such, it is harder to shift.
When it is good and warmed up, the RPM stays at 1200-1250.
Is the advanced idle when for the first five-ten mins of operation normal?
So while researching lifts for my ’15 570, I found nobody makes jack sh!t for it.
BUT I did some research and found that the arms are the same as previous models and people do make lifts and arched arms for those.
Here’s what I got so far from the Polaris parts catalogs.
So it looks like everything is the same except the upper rear arm on the ’10 and older models. BUT everything is the same on ’11 and up models.
I couldn’t find anybody that makes a big lift, that isn’t a one off custom lift, for the ’11 and up models. It does look like SuperATV offers arched front A-Arms for all value line Sportsmans, including 570s, 2005 and up.
Bought the kid his first quad and loves it. He cried when we told him made the wife day. Took it out and very impressive with it power wise. Going to buy another one I think for the price point can’t go wrong
went out this weekend and got about 12 miles in when my bike died on me. fired it back up, but when i hit the throttle the engine bogged down and stalled. I fired it back up again and throttled again. Again the engine bogged down but i let off and it went back to idle. It idles fine but stalls when you throttle. someone suggested vapor lock, but i dont know if that works with efi engines. someone else suggested water in the tank. i havent checked anything yet. its a 2015 570 sportsman efi. someone is probably gonna say take it to the dealer cuz its under warranty…..i get that. I still want to know whats goin on and try to learn something.:rock3:

Any of you 570 folks having the rubber straps that keep the storage box lid down come loose while riding. Mine will not stay latched and pop loose every bump I hit! I cannot figure a way to adjust or repair this problem as the straps are pop riveted on with no adjustment possible. Yesterday I had to bungee cord it down to keep it shut. Not the fix I want on a $7500.00 dollar quad. Thanks for any help on this as it is very frustrating.:nixweiss:
does anybody happen to know a cheap place to get a rear black stock rim or one close to it? My dealer quoted me $126 for one so I’m trying to find an alternative.
