For the 2nd time this year I’ve had mice nesting in my ’09 550 airbox. this machine does n’t usually sit for more than 2-3 days without use. yesterday I noticed a water bottle holder that I have tied to rack was shredded. i opened airbox and there sat mama and 1/2 dozen pinks. I evicted them promptly and was trying to figure out what I could do to prevent this from happening again, as a temp I shoved some nylon screening into hole but I don’t want to have to pop the top off everytime I go for a ride. :gcrules:
Bought a new Yamaha carb for my 660 grizzly and the starter plunger is diff old carb had round hole this one has slotted. Can you change the end on the cable??
Who makes the best one for guys who don’t know shit? For example i had a honda 450x… manual was step by step for idiots like me… like explaining to a 5 year old how to do things.. my grizzly manual is like you need to have a degree in engineering to figure it out?
I recently bought a 2015 Grizzly 700 and having a hard time finding parts for it. Most parts are listed as up to 13 or 14. My question is… Will a 14 lift fit a 15? And will a 13 exhaust fit the 15? Also what year(s) clutch kit will fit the 2015 if any?
I have searched for days for an answer and still lost, any help at all is appreciated !
My plans are to order from wild boar a 2" lift, 30" silverbacks, 1.5" spacers, evo exhaust, snorkel and rad relocate combo, and "a" clutch kit. Thanks!First post btw plan on doing a build thread
For those that are interested I have found the following info. 2013 and older Grizzly 700 takes the following shock lengths:
Front = 14.1” Long with 4.3” travel and 9.8” compressed
Rear = 16.0” Long with 4.3” travel and 11.7” compressed
The 2014 -15 model Grizzly 700 takes the following shock length:
Front = 16.69” Long with 4.31” travel and 12.38” compressed
Rear = 17.63” Long with 4.67” travel and 12.96” compressed
The shocks for the new model are a fair bit longer than I expected and I’m thinking if I were to run the old shocks on the new model I could have problems with the shock bottoming out too early. Might sell the old ones and get the right ones. Might look and see if the new grizzly standard shocks will fit the old Grizzly. Might give a bit of lift? Anyone done that? I think the shocks mount to a different place on the A arm which is why they are longer but have similar travel.
I places my order for ehs fuel controller a few days ago and still no email confirming it’s been shipped. Are they usually this slow? When I ordered my 2rtip from Minnesota I had that in washington state in 4 days packaged nicely and everything.
I have an 09 700, and was having trouble with the fan not kicking on, In the process of checking connections, a cloud of smoke started coming out of the CID, now I put a CID out of my sons into it, and everything works great. Anyone have a CID used for sale, or have any Idea where I can get one, without paying $509 at the dealers?

After purchasing the ehs fuel controler I’m now looking at changing out the air filter I’m going to going with the ehs racing lid and want the best flow I have read on here some say k@n some uni.lm looking for maximum flow and protection against dirt dust.lm not a mudder I’ll go in a bit but not looking for it I will however cross creeks, rivers and a couple feet deep at best,I don’t float it.2015 grizzly 700.Thanks in advance!!
I just put a set of front brakes on the 01 Grizzly 600. Picked a set (all 4) from Advance believe it or not. Bad news. They didn’t last a month. I will be the first to say that it was under severe conditions. The way the rims on this one are made (solid dish) it is hard to get all the mud out of the caliper. What I wanted to know is which type of pads are the longest lasting in the mud. I root this one a lot. I have heard both good and bad about the kevlar and I am leaning toward a sintered bronze compound but have not made up my mind. Just figured I would see what you all have found works the best.
