Cooling fan not shutting off

I turned the key off on my 2007 Grizzly EFI today, and the cooling fan won’t stop running. If I pull the positive power on the battery it stops of course, but if I put it back on it starts right back up.

I’m assuming its a relay, just picking your brains to see if I’m on the right track before I head online for parts.

Rats!!

Hey guys I have a 2009 Grizzly 550 that makes for a wonderful rat nest. The buggers chewed up a little wireing and I’m having difficulty figuring out exactly what it is that I’m looking at. Facing the machine with the cover off there are 3 large plugs just behind the battery and just left of the lean angle sensor. They appear to be part of the wiring harness. The buggers chewed on several wires on two of the plugs.

The plugs are fine and disassemble relatively easily. The wires terminate to a clamp on pin that goes in the plug body. I believe if I could buy those pins I could cut the wires and reassemble the unit.

The wires that plug into the lean angle sensor are toast also. Can I buy a new plug?

What are my options

2003 660 Grizzly starter only engages briefly

Have a 2003 660 Grizzly .When start button is pushed the starter engages for a second then stops then does the same over and over .I thought it was the solenoid so I bought an aftermarket one but it does the same.I took the wire from the starter off and put a test light on it while pushing the start button and the light on.Thinking it is a starter problem I connected 12 volts to starter and starter turns over no problem without cutting out.Haven’t got a clue what to try next.Notice park light never comes on unless you play with the shifter and it won’t start in park ,only in neutral .Would the switch that controls that have anything to do with this issue?

grizzly overcharging? 15+ volts

I figure it would be better to start another thread..now i now most people dont catch these electrical gremlins till something goes wrong(ex battery dead). I have just fknished install a set of heated hand grips and jnstalled the black wire on the negative terminal. As i was checking over my work i happened to check the voltage of the battery while it was run k g and it was 15.1 or slightly more volts..my electrical guru buddy feels that it isnt a problem but i just wanted to double ch3ck..could this higher voltage be a bad battery or a sign that my stator is goin out? It is a 2008 with no cooler line. Just wondering what i should do(if anything). The bike starts and rjns fine and i have never had to charge the battery between runs or anything. Any advice or input is appreciated. Thanks
