Mirror from top of cage.

I have Polaris window that has a frame that takes up the roll bar on each side.
I need a mirror that can mount from the top of the cage with a somewhat long arm to use as a side view mirror.
I looked at RAM mounts and if they had one that fit our 1.75" cage it would work.
anyone know of mirrors that can mount with long arms?

Santa Fe National Forest

I’ve been to Moab, Silverton, Taylor Park, & the Carson NF a few times but have never been to the Santa Fe NF. I’m wanting to try it out, but it’s a big place and I don’t know where to start.
Have any of y’all been to the Santa Fe and if so, can you recommend any trail heads or areas there for good riding?

Thanks

Good compression but still burns oil

Have a stock 2008 rzr 800 that burns about a quart every 50 miles or so. I’m 99% sure that previous owner dusted it. Compression on both cylinders just under 170. I do notice the smell of oil while riding. Assume that is the burning off.

I always thought that a bad top end meant low compression?

I assume at least I need new pistons/rings. Or could my oil consumption be from something else? Anyone else have good compression and yet burn oil?

Thanks

W.T.B winch

I am looking to buy a new 4000pound ish winch with synthetic line for my 900xp. Has anyone seen any good deals out their? I would like a quality brand, but am not loyal to any one manufacture.:redrzr:

Alternative Air Filter for 800/800s maybe others.

This was brought up in a few other threads that I found, but no real pictures that i could dig up, so i figured what the heck, a Fram air filter #8805 is $12.00 at wally world…..

Here are a few pics of the "install" (like it takes a rocket surgeon).

Stock filter compared to FRAM 8805

i took the stock black ring around the inlet of the stock filter off.

I took the ring off and flipped it so that the wider flat side was against the filter, put just a small dab of silicone to keep it in place.

here it is installed in the Fram 8805

After the black ring stays in place all you have to do is slide it on the same way that the stock filter goes on. the black ring makes a stop for the filter other wise it can slide past the groove on the intake tube. here’s the end result.

hope this helps anyone looking for a good alternative to the factory filter. Not sure what other models this will work on, but mine is a 2010 RZR 50" for reference.
