Looking for Harness Women Love

Have 3" harness and the wife refuses to wear it. Looking or a 2" that the gals love to wear. Needs seat belt type buckles and easy adjustment for shoulder straps. What have you guys found that your wife likes to use? And it has to be red to match everything else. Thanks for the input.

2014 XP1000 Questions

So my buddy is selling his 14′ XP1000 for the new turbo.
Questions
How reliable was the 14?
Updates you would do or are needed?
How’s the stock shock set up for just tooling around?
What changes were made between the 14, 15 and 16 other than the few hp?
Is it a fair buy at $14,000?

Abernathy’s in TN

Just to let everyone know I purchased a 900 XC from abernathy’s back in late june. I got a great deal on a brand new machine couldn’t be beat anywhere. They added all the accessories just the way I wanted and I couldn’t be happier.

It was about 600 miles from my house however even with gas and trailer I saved over $3,000.00. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who is interested in buying new and is close to TN.

Gas vent recall

I have a 2015 RZR 1000 and also a new 900 – both are on recall notice I received in the mail today.

Problem is both are over 100 miles to the nearest dealer and I do smell gas a lot on the 1000

The recall sounds pretty dangerous – any idea what to look for so I wont have to drive hours to have it inspected

Thanks

F me moments

So lets have a little humor at our own expense. Post something stupid or embarrassing you have done with or about you RZR. So I will start with today. As some on the Forum know I am leaving for a 7 day Baja ride in the morning. I have been prepping, buying extra parts and figuring on how to carry what I need. As some may know I am fire paranoid so I have 3 extinguishers on my 1000. 1 behind and centered between the seats. I have 2 on the roll bar where it extends to the rear bumper. That’s 1 on each side. We decided to carry our clothes, toiletries, meds and any other thing we could squeeze in using boat bags. Their waterproof. I gave my wife full reign on what ever she could get in her bag. Big mistake!!! we are putting the bags on the tool box in the bed and are using a web net to hold them down. So as I was doing the final fit on the loaded bags and leaning over to stretch the net which was very tight. My wifes bag full to the Max. As I was pulling on the net my shirt caught on the left side fire extinguisher. As I pulled away it broke the safety tie, the pin fell out and I leaned in and my body activated the extinguisher. This is in my garage. This is my clean RZR loaded for the trip. This is a solid black XP 1000. F me what a mess. There was powder every where. All over our clothing bags, all over the RZR, all over the garage. Holy crap what a mess. Well 2 hours later I had the bags clean, the RZR washed and the garage hosed out. Now I had to go buy a new Extinguisher. So 30$ later and a little work remounting the new on I am good to go. So when I load the bags onto the RZR in Baja I think I will pull that extinguisher so I don’t have to reach over it. Hey if your gonna be stupid you gotta be tough!! BFR.:rofl3::rofl3::rofl3::rofl3:

Desert guys ride height???

I know a lot of the guys that are rock crawling need higher clearance but what are you desert guys running front and back for clearance? Just installed my new Kings and wondering where I should set them. I think Rzr comes stock 13 1/2 front and 13 rear but I’ve heard a lower center of gravity is good for the desert. My riding will be 90% ocotillo wells.
