What kind of plug is this?

I have a yamaha grizzly 660 2005 here I was having overheating issues today and accidentally broke the connector that plugs into the fan thermo switch (see picture below) on the left side of the radiator while I was checking it.

The overheating issue is resolved I was wondering where I can find the connector, was hoping to pull the pins from this connector and put them into a new one. The thermoswitch in the image below I have found, part no. 5GM-82560-00-00. I just can’t find the harness or lead that plugs into it. I wondered if it is a standard generic plug or a standard yamaha plug or what?

The clip that holds it in snapped off. Usually wouldn’t worry about it but the quad is my gfs dads hahaaaa..

Thanks in advance,
Josh

Snow Plow mount question

Hey guys,

I just bought a new Cycle Country Plow set up for my new Grizzly and had a question while putting it together. There is the mounting plate that bolts to the underside of the frame. That is where the push tube attaches under the Grizz. I was going to go ahead and mount the mounting plate while it’s sitting here in the garage but the instructions say not to trail ride with the plate attached. Does anyone actually take that mounting plate off every year? I can understand it will reduce your ground clearance in those 2 spots where the tube will attach but it’s only about 1-2".
What do you guys do?

Thanks

XY Powersports Ground Pounder 1100???

First I’d just like to say, sorry I haven’t been on here for a while. I just got married a couple of weeks ago. For the last few months, all my time and energy has went into that. But, now I’m back with a question.

I’m in the market for a SxS soon. I found one at a local dealer that I’d never heard of before and I can’t find any reviews on the net. I found a few videos on youtube and a few for sale, but no real info. It’s called the XY Powersports Ground Pounder 1100. They’re labeled as a dune buggy instead of SxS or UTV. They are wide long and low like a Wild Cat. They have a CVT, high and low with reverse. They have 2×4, 4×4 and diff lock. The cool part is they have an 1100cc 4 cylinder engine.

My question is, does anyone have any first hand experience or knowledge of these things, especially concerning quality and reliability?

Stalling/Sputtering Issues

While out riding this past weekend, bike ran great except when under a load. While in a mud pit or going up a steep hill (basically whenever it is under a load), it spits and sputters. Almost sounds like a rev limiter. While riding regular, mild mud holes, level trails, small inclines, etc., it runs great. I’ve had the carburetor cleaned but it has sat for a while (possible float issue?). Thanks for the help!
