I have a 1993 trail boss 350 and my roller chain guide part # 5431003 is no longer offered. Has anyone else needed this part ? And did you find a aftermarket roller? I may find a aftermarket roller If I know what the outside diameter . But mine is too far gone to measure. Any help would be great. Thanks Jim
I have a 2015 rancher with 1400 miles.I was just wondering how often everyone adjusts the valves.I think it’s crazy to adjust every 5 or 600 miles. It seems after I adjust them and they’re quite it seems like I start hearing them in a few hundred miles.
Originally had #889 installed (for headlights) which were somewhere around 48 lumens(?). Decided to try #862 which are a little brighter (62 lumens?) and will draw just a tad more amperage (I would think).
I bent my front A-arm last week (lower left). Probably bent it 1/2-3/4", on center. Yesterday, a friend came by who used to ride a lot and said that’s going to happen pretty often and to just hook a "come-along" to it and pull it back into shape.
I did it and it looks pretty good and seems to drive straight and true.
Anyone ever do this and your results?
I figure this has maybe weakened the A-arm a little but why not try once or twice before replacing? These A-arms look like they can bend pretty easy.
I just bought my first Can-am Outlander…finally! I’m looking forward to many years of fun with this bike. Glad I found this resource as I already have a question about the machine and I’m sure many more will pop up along the way!

The bike in question: 2016 Can-Am Outlander Max XT 650 Black/Octane Blue
Hey guys, I just bought this bike in black/octane blue and brought it home yesterday. I have a question; should it not have come with a box that goes in place of the seat? I know they used to from looking into buying one of these bikes a couple years back. Did they change that for 2016 or am I going to have to go back to the dealer and get it? Has anyone here bought one and can tell me what came with theirs? If I’m missing the box I’d like to know what else I’m missing.
Thanks!
Finally got a can am. Been wanting one for years and finally got a 2012 Renegade 1000 XXC. Love this thing, just hope it can be almost as reliable as my King quad 750 was….
