Is it possible to get this to work on a 2014/2015 Grizzly 700?
Just wondering if the Meter Assembly is a carry over from the previous year and it would use the same hookup and the dimension is the same to be used in the the 2016 headlight pod/fairing.
I haven’t really seen it yet or cross referenced any part numbers.
I have a Honda Center Headlight On/Off Switch, Part Number: 08E75-HP0-100A, the specs say that it is used on the 2005 & 2006 TRX500 Foreman’s but does not show that it is used on the 2005 TRX500FA (Rubicon) so I was wondering if anyone has successfully put this cable and switch on the wiring harness of a 2005 or 2006 TRX500FA (Rubicon)?
My neighbor had a 2005 Honda Rincon 650 that has been sitting in his backyard for about 3-4 years. I recently acquired it and am attempting to get it going. I immediately changed the oil, replaced the battery, spark plug, air filter, and removed the carb. The carb had what looked like dried molasses inside of it. I purchased a new jet kit and cleaned the mess out of it. I then replaced all the jets and put it back in place. I first put carb on and it ran ok but then began leaking out the overflow. I again removed the carb and took the bowl off to find more junk had come loose. I removed the jets and cleaned everything again. The float needle began to move freely so I put everything back on. Bam, it cranked up and all is good at idle.
Problem comes at about t 3/4 throttle. It began to die. So I read to screw the fuel/air mixture screw all the way in and back it out 2 1/2 turns. Then adjust but shouldn’t need more than 3 1/2 turns out. At about 2 3/4 turns it seems to run the best. Good at idle, then at 3/4 throttle it begins to miss. No black smoke, No backfire, just skip and miss. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Has anyone used Dalton Springs or clutches? Can you give some feedback? I have heard of the name before but cant seem to find many reviews of the products. Im looking at the DPPS-B/T primary spring for my Highlifter Sportsman.
I have a 2001 Recon that was not having trouble until about 3 months ago. I pull started it and it ran for about 5/6 days then shut down completely. My friend pulled it one day and the pull rode came out. so I bought a new one and pulled it and no run. so i replaced cdi box and battery, still no go. then I bought a coil, and no go. So now it is at an atv shop and he charges 60 an hr and he said I need to buy a new and expensive cdi box and a new coil. This past weekend my friend brought his recon over for me to work on and it has a broke cylinder wall. So i asked if I can use the cdi and coil so it will save me an rm and a leg.

My question: (and I never really thought about it)
I noticed while hooked up to the power commander that I was hitting the max RPM (around 7200) at 35% throttle due to the setup. I like the setup for what I ride. However, that means that at Max RPM and 35% throttle the throttle body is only 35% open. I have been having issues at idle and off idle. I was wondering if I need to make the TPS reading fully open at 35% throttle (example: around 1.2V vs 4.0V).
Any body have any ideas or suggestions for maintaining longevity of the seat ?? It seems as though when ever I go racks deep or just deep for that matter the seat foam gets completely saturated with water….. Sounds stupid , I know but I can’t find anybody offering a material alternative or better way to deal with it, I guess just let it dry out, and wait for dryrot to destroy my comfy seat ???
Looking for some feed back, not getting much response in the tire section, after going back and forth on what tires for about 8 months now. I’m settled on the pitbulls. I do all types of riding and I am 50/50 growlers or rockers. I do like mud sometimes so I want that to be deciding factor, so I would like to know if anyone has seen or witnessed growlers against pitbulls in the mud? Which are better in the mud
