on a few occasions I have needed a rear light to back up at night. I’m not interested in a complicated auto reverse light. A simple rocker switch should do.
I’m thinking of mounting a LED light bar under the trunk on that bar right in front of the muffler. Has anyone done this? I measure about 12 inches of space. Will a 12.25 fit? Show me some pics

My grizz was vandalized last weekend, with the wiring harness(es) cut up. The wiring leading to both voltage regulator / rectifier connectors is my primary concern. The top connector is a black, 3 pin type, with 2 wires, red & black. I have a spare and the proper pinout for this one. The lower connector is of a similar body style, 3 pin type, with 3 white(ish) wires that run forward, then under the fuel tank, & connect to the left side of the engine block just forward of the dip stick.
I am having trouble finding a replacement for the grey connector. I did find the original connector down the alley, and may be able to repair it, but it is damaged and I am concerned about water infiltration. I do have old terminals that may possibly be reused… but this Grizz has brought me home from many a wet, remote nightmare… lol… This is one item I’d prefer to take great care with.
I am well versed in making a water tight splice, but the plastic body and retention device are damaged. I am also uncertain if pin out matters, as they are all white.
my grizzly wouldn’t idle and start. so I was told that the "ISC" can go bad on those machine and so I bought a brand new throttle body for my machine.
I’m now able to get it started and will run but it will NOT idle, I played with my cable adjustment play and idle screw and nothing. have a new plug, oil is fairly new and the TPS is right on set. any suggestions?…
Been making little changes. Some may be removed just trying different setups to see what I like for my riding style. Removed the 27’s put 30 mudzillas. Added the Yamaha front bumper and vantage winch. Put on a 2" highlighter bracket lift. Changed to a 2mm shim also.
I have a 2006 sportsman 800 production date 06/06/06 to be exact. Trying to figure out if I have the right belt on. What’s the difference between the 3211113 and the 3211106? Did all 800 come eps? My rpm engagement seems higher than it should be and the quad seems to hit a wall at 80km. Everything in the clutch is stock to my knowledge?? Any ideas?
This Polaris over heats a lot and most people I’ve talked to say Polaris are notorious for having either a faulty head gasket or blown gasket. I’m hoping it isn’t because it’ll be a mother to change it on this bike. Anyway this is what is happening. You ride it for a good little bit then the light cuts on. If you ride it further it pukes on your leg for the overflow. The fan is wired straight to the ignition so if the key is on the fan is on. The radiator is clean. The propellor is doing its job and the thermostat is out completely. Now if the cap is bad the spring won’t be strong enough to hold the pressure causing it to resort to the overflow and puke. Right??? Please help
