1998 Foreman 450 ES Electrical Problem

My ATV lost power as I was riding. I’ve checked all the fuses under the seat, the display screen works and I can change the gears when the key is switched to the on position. I am not getting fire to the spark plug. Pressing the ignition button the motor spins fine, just doesn’t hit due to lack of fire at the plug. Don’t know what to look for at this point. Could someone point me in the right direction?

Thanks,
G.

Crutchfield suspension

I am very much interested in Crutchfield suspension products for my ’15 Outlander. Sent several e mails to the address and tried calling 706-931-2513 to no avail. Does anyone know if they are still in business? Seems odd way to conduct themselves. Is there a website to order? With my limited computer skills I couldn’t find one.:th_smiliepullhair: Are there spring only options available?
Thank You for any help!
Gary

electrical failure

I am new to the forum and new to the ATV world. Bought a used 2011 Outlander 500 on Sunday. Test drive went fine and moved it around a bit yesterday with no problems….THEN took the wife for a ride to show her how to drive. For about 20 minutes we drove with absolutely no problems. All of a sudden the bike shut down and nothing. Turn the key and no start, no display on panel, not a click.

Any help would be great. I don’t even know where to start. Nothing makes you feel more like a bonehead in front of your wife like this.

By the way, I had a very good impression of the seller as far as maintaining equipment and such. I called and he even offered to give money back. Would like to keep it though.

Custom V PLow

Who plows snow with their four wheelers?
I plow a few driveways in the area trying to make some extra cash in the winter time and figured it was time to give my old homemade plow a break and build a newer better plow. I came up with the idea to build a V plow reusing my old mount and push tubes So I can swap my old plow back on at any time when this idea doesn’t work. All the benefits of a V plow are only benefits if it’s controlled from the seat though and still fits in the truck, think right now its right on 8′ so may have to do some trimming in spots. Thinking Linear actuators to control the wings. Here’s what I’ve got so far. For any of you wanting to build one I took a few closer pictures of the hinge mechanism because it’s the hard part and the part that there seems to be no pictures of anywhere. Also for those of you that think it’s going to be HEAVY, that’s a big no right now. Still got lots of bracing left to do and all the mounts for the actuators but right now it’s a fair bit lighter than my old plow, will probably end up about the same maybe a bit heavier.
What do you think?:funnysuzuki:
