So I changed fluids today and am doing a general overview of quad. I have the front end jacked up and I spin the front left wheel and it’s quiet while spinning. I spin the right front wheel and you can hear a funny noise coming from inside the diff. Is this normal noise. First time I had front end jacked up

Hey there,
I’m new to the ATV world. I’ve driven motorcycles all my life and recently sold my CBR1000RR as my wife and I had a baby and I just don’t enjoy it as much anymore.
I picked up a 2014 Can Am Outlander 650 Max XT. We have horses so initially I only bought it for the purpose of hauling the manure cart up to the back woods to dump it. After a few rides I became addicted and absolutely love it.
I live in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia on the east coast of Canada so there are endless trails.
I have one question, my bike is a 2014 and has 230Hrs and 7500 Kms. From my understanding, the gentleman that had it prior to meonly rode it on the groomed winter trails in Quebec. I’m wondering what is a lot of kms on an ATV?
Thanks guys and gals!
Chris
I mounted a light bar without an issue now I’m trying to wire it up and I am stumped. Note that I am a NOVICE to electrical installs …
I researched the wiring and based on what I found I decided to tap my light bar onto the high beam. Ok, nothing hard about that … I thought. More research … the wire I need to tap off is under the left fender. Found it with no issue, it has a quick connector on it so I disconnected it and pulled both ends up through the front accessory panel so I could get to them easily as in the following pic:
So far so good …
SO I turn the low beams on and pull out my multimeter and find 12VDC between the green and white wires, great this is going very well :
Still so far so good …
So I turn on the high beam and check the white/green and find 0VDC! YES it is going so easy …
One more check … the blue/white should show 12VDC not that the high beam is on … BUT NO! Nothing, notta … wth?
Ok so I put the multimeter up and reconnect the quick connector and the high beam is on …
Someone help me here, what in the world is going on? Why am I getting 0VDC on the blue/white with high beams on?
Hi I’ve recently bought a ds 450, it runs fine for hours but the all of a sudden cuts out, it starts up again but then cuts out when I pull away or try to get into 2nd, sometimes even 3rd, I think it’s fuel injected so I’m thinking it may be electrical but I’m not 100%, I’ve recently had work done on the electrics as my indicators wernt working…. Could this have anything to do with it? Also it has a fuel injection module and I noticed the cable was slightly worn I’ve since taped it up and it looks fine but could this be the problem or am I looking in the wrong place all together ? Anyone have any ideas I’d appreciate any advice thanks!!
