I am trying to resurrect this ride. The display indicates the gear flashing "N" 3 times, it is somewhat inconsistent. A few times it flashed 5 times. The fuel level indicator continuously flashes.
It does not crank over at all. I have put in a new battery. If I jump across the solenoid the starter cranks over, no spark. Lights work fine, fuses are good. Had to replace the key, start switch and solenoid.
The front tires do not rotate, like it is locked in 4wd in gear. The rear tires do rotate.
Would the angle sensor prevent from cranking over? I am also looking for the user manual to look up the codes if anyone has a link. I did not see one anywhere posted so far.
Thank you
Hi!
I have a new 2015 sportsman touring and would like to get some extra LED Lights for it.
I’ve measured the front grill (see attached picture) and its just barely 12" (30cm) wide and i’m wondering if this is a good place to mount a 12" light or even if a 12" light would fit here.
Anyone added lights to that position before?
How did you mount them?
I have a 1996 Honda Fourtrax 300. It’s been sitting a while with carb issues. I ordered a replacement carb and installed. It’s running great but the tube that hangs down from the new carb drips fuel when not running. I have to turn fuel off to keep this from happening. There are two hoses that are about 6 inches long on either side of the carb. I left them hanging in the air. I thought these where both vent tubes. Does one of these hoses need to be attached somewhere to work properly?
Anyone have experience with putting cams in their 800 with the Dalton 800M clutch kit?
If so what cams?
My mods are bellow. Thinking of doing cams but don’t want to get two hours from home only to find out I’ll smoke the belt all day. Aftermarket primary isn’t in the budget just yet.
Have 2009 Out Lander 800 Max Ltd I have broken axles before but this is the first of a Rear Drive Shaft Replaced it with one from Super ATV and the new one is more than double the weight of the old one. When it did snap was not even
14 Throttle. Just curious if anyone else has gone thru this just finding these Can Ams don’t hold up or the OEM parts just not made well enough????:tools1::tools1:
I need help! 2004 Sportsman 700 twin, carb. Starts usually fine, loses power, bogs out, backfires when decelerating.
I’ve changed plugs, air and fuel filter cleaned fuel tank, ran fuel cleaner through system, replaced carb boot, which did have cracks.
Is there anymore ideas I can check before I bring it in.

I’m having power issues with my 03 rancher 2X4. Starts fine. Idles fine. When I get going up into 2nd and 3rd, the throttle doesn’t seem to do much. It’s just barely going. It’s always ran and started fine. I did replace carb last year, but other than that, it’s been great. I use ethanol-free gas and run it out every time I shut it down. So, I give it gas, it revs up, but doesn’t really accelerate like it use to. It never sounds or feels like it’s about to cut off, just moves sluggishly.
I did look in the air filter box and there seemed to have been a lot of fuel in there…
I have a 2014 Sportsman 570. It set most of the summer and when I went to crank it up for the first time a few weeks ago I had to charge the battery and then it cranked up just fine. Yesterday I went to crank it up and when I turned the key all that came on was the pod it wouldnt ever try to turn over. The break lights wouldnt come on nor would the head lights however my light bar would come on and my winch would operate. Ive let it sit all night on the battery charger and the same thing is going on. Has anyone else had this happen to them with a dead battery? I really dont want to take it to the dealer but if a new battery wont fix the issue I might have to bit the bullet and take it there. I am going to pick up a new battery today in hopes that since my battery is 2 years old that its just a simple battery swap and its fix.
Is it available? I cannot find it on the Polaris website. Third party website claims the 9926805 is the one, but Polaris website says it is not compatible
