Battery questions

I have a ’15 Sportsman 570 and my display has been showing the low voltage message. I took the battery out of the machine to inspect it & the levels of all 6 cells were between the min/max markings. It read 12.48 when I checked it with my multi-meter. I charged it for about 15 hours (which is what my trickle charger instructions said for that size battery) and now it’s reading 12.81. What should it be reading? Do I need to charge it longer?

Any advice is greatly appreciated, thanks!

Hey folks….I have a 1992 Honda 300 fourtrax. Its been a real trooper. Tough as nails. Lately, I have a real hard time starting it. It seems to be kicking back when I try to start it. It always use to start with a kick or 2. And now if I do get it started and run it for awhile the turn it off, almost impossible to restart it again. Any thoughts?

Missing a zerk fitting in front prop shaft

Hello,

I’m missing a zerk fitting in the front prop shaft. I did find the zerk fitting whole after following threads and asking questions in the forum. Unfortunately, the zerk fitting probably was never installed or it came off from the factory.

The issue is, I can’t reach to put in a replacement zerk fitting. I haven’t been able to remove the step plastic as I held off in removing front and rear plastics of ATV. Is there a work-around to this? or all plastics needs to be removed to remove the foot piece?

My other option is to bring it to the dealer and have them install the fitting since I still have Polaris warranty but based on other posts here I think that’ll take about a month.
