I am trying to get TDC but when I am looking at the cam I don’t see the "i" mark A on the shaft. I see the mark on case. The mark on the camshaft aligns with the pointer on the head
I am purchasing a 2017 Sportsman XP 1000 November 1st. I plan on using a 2 inch ball to pull a trailer with the XP 1000. I was looking through the accessories on the Polaris Website and noticed that they sell a Rear Hitch bracket……but it does not refer to the XP 1000. Can someone tell me if this bracket fits the XP 1000, or do I have to order a different item number, and what is it. Or…..is a bracket even required for the Sportsman XP 1000??
***** I noticed when I was looking at the model on the floor that there were 3/4 holes drilled in a plate. I am not sure if you are to attach the rear hitch bracket to the existing plate…..or, the hitch ball attaches directly??
I’m going from a 4ft to a 5ft snow plow this year and want to add wheel weights on the rear wheels of my ’08 420 4×4 Rancher. I can find them for lawn tractors, but nothing for ATV’s. does anyone sell them or do I need to try and adapt some lawn tractor unit to fit the Rancher?
OK looking for some advice. I am attempting to take off the back CVT cover plate and that entails removing both clutches. I got the proper tools for the clutch removal and had no problem getting both the clutches off except for the back sheave of the primary clutch. I just purchased the clutch puller for that, but when I screw it in and it bottoms out using my air wrench is will not screw in any further to release the back sheave. I don’t want to damage anything, is it supposed to be that hard on there? Any tips?
Just curious if anyone has replaced the grille and headlight mounting assembly on a g2? I ran into a downed tree hanging in the trail the other weekend so purchased a replacement since it blew out my right headlights. Just curious if I have to remove the top rack and front plastics or if it will push out where the radiator used to be (relocated to front rack). So far I’ve pulled 6 bolts and 4 retaining clips and it’s loose but won’t slide backwards. Any tips would be greatly appreciated, thanks!!
