need some reviews on a 860 BBK

I have a 15 outlander 800 stock with 28" zilla tires. I feel like doing some mods over the winter. CVT tech clutch, slip on and programmer. I have been trying to get some info on MR RPM 860 kit. For any of you that have it can you give me a review. What you like, dislike, noticeable power increase, reliability.

Thanks

400ex rear master cylinder rebuild

Hey guys, I’m new to the site and this is my first post. I have searched the site extensively and haven’t found much on this topic so if there is a link to a thread I apologize in advance. I’m rebuilding a rear master cylinder on my 03 400ex. The two seals I need advice on are the push rod boot ( postioning, best possible way to put it on without taking nut off) but most importantly the master piston seal. I want to be as careful as possible with it. Should I use lube, brake fluid etc? Any advice is much appreciated I truely am at a stand still on this until I hear from someone who knows. Thank you

92 trail boss 350 4×4

Hey guys. Recently got a 92 polaris 350 4×4. Idk what the difference is between the 350l and the 350 or if it will matter when it comes to ordering parts. Secondly the wheeler only has 765 miles on it and has been in our family since new. The motor is sound and the wheeler runs great so no issues there. Hadnt been started in 3 years and started on 2nd pull (battery is dead and need a new one for electric start) thats the good.

The bad: when I rode it a lil while today it seemed like there was a bind in the rear wheel and front wheel. Had smoke pouring out from below the machine and noticed where the rear brake is that it alnost looked like it was grinding. The front brakes have to be pumped many times before there is any pressure to them and the rear brake is almost non existent. I have been looking for the rear rotor and haven’t had any success and would like suggestions on what else I should be checking as far as the binding up goes. Also if anyone has a suggestion on a seat with the brackets that attch to it that would be helpful as well. Thank you in advance

Seeking a reliable ATV for snow removal?

Hey there! I’m new so hopefully I’m posting within the right board. My father and I use a snow-blower to clear our large 3 lane driveway and long sidewalk around the property. The problem with the last few winters is that it snows hard in our area and it can be very wet. Our blower is large but simply won’t throw wet snow. We’ve decided to purchase an ATV and plow however we both know very little about ATVs. The model I have in mind is the base Polaris Sportsman 570. I need something that is easy enough for my father to operate when I’m not around to help him (he’s in his mid 60s with back problems so blowing + shoveling isn’t too practical anymore). My main questions however are:

1.) Will this be powerful enough to push at worst a foot and a half of very wet snow?

2.) How reliable will cold starts be? It’ll be kept in our garage all year round but it isn’t heated in the winter. (~20*F at the lowest).

3.) How long will this model last? We’re only intending on using it for snow removal during the winter. Nothing more, so can this be expected to last the next 8+ years with basic maintenance and little trouble.

4.) Is this a better option over the Honda 4×4 Foreman?

Sorry for the long post, thanks much in advance!

98 Polaris Magnum 6 x 6

Just bought this atv and am looking for an owners manual. The Polaris site does not list this model for 1998. Already ordered a repair manual, but would like the original owners manual as well. I have a feeling this will be the first of many issues I will need help with from this group. Thanks.

’96 Sportsman 400 Problem

I am new to the forum and own a ’96 Sportsman 400 2 stroke. I got it about a year ago and it had been sitting in a barn for 2-3 years. When I got it, it hardly ran and I figured the carburetor was the problem and ordered a new one. After lots of thinking and adjustments, I finally had it running decently but it didn’t last long.

Took it out on a little ride and didn’t run it too hard and drove it around the place for a day or two, I go to ride it the next morning and it wont start.

I tried fiddling with the carburetor some more but it didn’t help. Hasn’t started since. I took it apart down to the piston and figured it could’ve been the head gasket and also suspected rings after some info from a friend. I ordered new rings and gaskets but out of the three different ring size options, I chose the wrong one:tired:. Just ordered new rings after looking up piston size and the right ring size- hopefully(.50 mm oversize). Also ordered new reed valves.

Spark plug should be good and I should be getting fuel. Hoping the rings will give me compression but after reading up on the web, I wonder about the crankcase seals. Just looking for some other opinions, input, or information.
