01 Grizzly starter O ring leak

Anyone have a leak from the starter O ring? I didnt change the O ring when i did the recent rebuild. Since then I have noticed there was an oil leak around the starter area where it installs into the crankcase. Pulled the starter and did see that the O ring was deformed and changed it out and wiped everything down. A quick fix ,,,,,,except after riding this weekend noticed still leaking. What gives???

2017 outlander 1k XMR

This has been a long time coming but I finally sold my 05 brute force 750 after having electrical issues and motor issues. Within the same day it was sold and this beast found a new home. I’m beyond pumped about this xmr. Love the black, white, and red color scheme along with the new rims. I have only had it a few days and still haven’t had a chance to ride it but I am a little concerned about some of these melting plastic issues I am seeing on here. Looking for advice and opinions on a few things from you guys. I am wondering if I should be trying to take the reigns here and take some preventive measure to try and keeping issues from arising. On the same token I just spent a load of money and should I just see if stuff happens and bank of the dealer fixing it? Also have any of you guys bought the extended warranty and found it worth while?

2016 XMR 1000r HIGH ELEVATION KIT INSTALLED

Probably a Dalton kit sold through Can Am but my dealer is awesome and supplied me the kit as I ride 4500′ + elevation regularly. Really woke up machine and extremely happy with it. Came with new lighter arms and new spring but spring was same black and green that was in from factory so I changed it out but don’t think I needed too. Highly recommended.

Sportsman 550 brake pads

So its time to replace my brake pads.

I have stock rotors on my 2012 Polaris sportsman 550 LE.

Mostly general ranch riding.
Lofty dirt, sand, clay, and some mud.

Any recommendations?

Always looking to upgrade if the product warrants it.

Thinking about a new one.

First off I sold my Raptor 700 in 2008 and have not had a wheeler until about 3 weeks ago. As I have posted on it a bit.

I got a 2005 Yamaha Kodiak 450 SE 4X4 with IRS. When i bought this I thought this would be all I need, and want! Well, I am a guy! I want more… Bigger, faster and so on.

When I bought my 2005, I paid cash so I just do not see in moving down the road anytime soon. But now I am wanting to go get a 2016 or 17.

Last night when i made my mind up on this I been looking at 3 main wheelers.

1. Yamaha Kodiak 700 SE in Tactical Black
2. Yamaha Grizzly 700 SE in Tactical Black
3. Can-Am OUTLANDER XT-P in Black.

I like the fact on the Can-Am because it comes in 850 or a 1000 V-Twin engine. The bad about it is the price. Also when i talked with a friend that has been on one, he said it was like being on a Jeep with handle bars. I think if I want something like that, I will just go buy a Jeep! But I am still going to go look at one before I buy anything.

Then the Yamaha. I lo9ve the 700 YFI in my raptor. So I hope the Kodiak and grizzly has the same power. But its going to be hard to pick what one. I am still thinking Kodiak for the most part. Now it will be for more of the trails thing anything. I am sure it will find its way to the mud knowing how I am so the smaller is the one I am thinking about.

Now I do not mind slower off the line so I will not be changing the Clutch Weights and tires as I been reading on the other forms. If I was to do all that, I would just go for the Grizzly.

I am about 98% sure I will go after a Yamaha, and 80% sure it will be a Kodiak. But let me know your thoughts on both.

Thank you.

Rancher trx420fa clanking noise

I just bought a 2013 Rancher trx420fa and I love it. It’s the DCT trans which works well.

I have noticed one thing that I’m assuming is not normal. It mainly happens when the atv has been on for a little while so the motor/trans is hot. When I am taking off, just once the atv is starting to move, it starts to have a somewhat loud clanking noise. It happens when I would guess you are disengaging the clutch on a car. It only does it in first when taking off

I have attached a few videos which you can hear the noise in.
