I was just thinking about the idea of us establishing a home meeting point/place again. It’s been awhile since this was discussed so I thought "Why not revisit" the idea. I understand that our biggest problem is the distance that separates us but I think we can make it work somehow if those interested really want to. Ben (bellracing2) brought up Bong Rec and how the club that was once there is no longer there to maintain the park. This could be something that we could easily do. Maintain the park and ride at the same time. I know that Ben reached out to them some time ago but I believe that there was no response on their end. But, I think that we should continue to pursue this and see what we can find out. Now, for those who have never been there, it’s a small place (120 acres I think). But, it could be fun and I think it could open up some other possibilities for us too. They have a building on the property that could be used as a meeting hall or dining area, etc., which we could use to hang out in as well.
So, any thoughts, ideas, suggestions, or such? Anyone have any connections or other leads to Bong? Or, maybe another park/facility?
I’m thinking that since the colder weather will soon be upon us, maybe this is a good time to kick the idea around again and see what people think. Please, feel free to share your thoughts/ideas that pertain to the cause of this thread. Looking forward to seeing what you guys have to say. Thanks.
All-terrain vehicles (ATVs) and Off-highway motorcycles (OHMs)
Motorcycle rider
There are nearly 8 miles of off-highway motorcycle trails at Richard Bong.
There are nearly 6.5 miles of ATV trails and nearly 8 miles of off-highway motorcycle trails at the property. Availability of the trails is determined on a daily basis. Always call 262-878-5600 before you come to ride. The message is changed daily. If weather or trail conditions warrant, the trails may be closed during the day and the telephone message changed.
Loops 1 and 2 open at 9 a.m. and close at sunset. In March and April, the ATV/off-highway motorcycle trails are closed.
ATVs and OHMs both need to be registered before arriving at the property.
My name is Manny im a small business owner. So a little about myself, i grew up building motors and tuning cars, hardcore into the street racing scene.
A good friend of mine asked me to go with him to an off road park for months and months end, i would make fun of him and say "why would i want to roll around in mud?".
He kept insisting and i finally broke down and tagged along. I was introduced to a whole diffrent world and i asked myself why didnt i come sooner, happy to say that since then i was immediately hooked and not only did i purchase my first atv but also a side by side, both new 2016 models…a sportman 570 and a RZR 1000s. I like modding and customizing my own cars….so i feel like intergrate my experience/skills onto these amazing machines.

I am mulling over installing a rear winch on my Outlander 1000. Any comments or suggestions? Is it worth it, or no? Anyone know of any good winch mounts for the back of the bike?
