Does anyone know of a chart or thread that gives "accurate" alternatves to Can Am fluids. I’m also interested in filters but that’s easier. I am most interested in appropriate alternatives to Can Am xp-s chaincase oil.

I’m riding a 05 trx450r, about 3weeks ago my chain popped off, so I came home, and the next week before going out I adjusted it properly. Half way through the day, I noticed it got too tight so I adjusted it again, after the day ended, it was loose. Any idea what’s going on?

So I’m shopping around for some beadlocks rims for my quad and I can find 4/156 pattern for the front but I can not find 4/4 for the rear!!! What pattern is equivalent to 4/4? Im finding 4/110, are they the same? Also what are some sites that sell nice beadlocks rims? I’m looking for just a black rims with a blue or yellow ring. Can’t decide between blue or yellow rings!!!

I was just checking if I have oil for my ATV (Foreman 400), and I find that I am confused by the various suffix’s on the 10W-40 Honda and other four stoke oil containers that I have. I find that I have the following suffix’s:
SJ
SG/SF/SJ
SF/SG
AP/SG/CC

I have Honda 10W-40, Four Stoke, SJ in the machine currently. I have a lot of oil, but I’m not sure I should mix even if they are all one brand with different suffix’s.

Can I mix any of these oils without doing any harm?

can anyone help with finding a rebuild kit for the carb? seems for some reason can`t find the kit. thanks scott

Hello.. So let me begin by telling you what I have done with the wheeler.. its a 2002 polaris sportsman 500 AWD.. I am doing repairs on it for a gentleman.. when I got it the pick up was bad and it was out of time.. I bought a whole new stater/pick up unit for it and put it in.. ohm’d everything out and it has passed.. reset timing by the book to where it is supposed to be.. put everything back together and made sure it had power.. now it has good spark.. good compression.. and seems to be getting fuel.. but when I turn it over I get nothing.. not a backfire.. not any type of sign showing it wants to start.. I removed the carb.. checked the valves for movement.. checked the lash.. everything seems to be on.. I spray starter fluid in the carb intake with the carb off and it flames up in the intake.. almost as if the firing is to soon.. but it doesnt act like it is backfiring out carb.. it just flames up.. I rechecked the timing and its on.. any ideas what this might be???
