How do I remove the gear on the crankshaft that turns the water pump and counterbalence also how do I remove the gear for the counterbalence? do I need a special tool or puller?

I just got a 2003 sportsman 400 that had not been run in 2 years. I drained all the old gas and put in fresh gas with seafoam. Replaced the fuel lines and put in a new spark plug. Once I was able to get it running I ran great when it was choked then when the chock was off it would want to die. Then when I rev it up it would back fire any suggestions? Thank you

had some things go down and I was not able to buy a grizz back in early oct. now things are looking better so im back shopping. so how reliable is the 2016 grizzly 700 ? seen 1 post of a motor failure and seen a few posts of smoking grizzlys. my 2004 660 was bomb proof and 100% problem free for many years will a 2016 be just as good to me ?

Bought my son a used 2008 outlaw 50 polaris for this christmas. I got it cheap cause engine was smoking. It was extreamly hard to start and would always stall. I rebuilt top end, checked valve clearance and rebuilt. New stator new spark plug..new carb..new throttle cable. Atv starts perfectly runs for 3 mins and shuts off..it will immediately restart and stall..i just ordered a new coil waiting for it to come in. I need this ready by xmas. Is there anything that is known to cause this??

Tail lights and brake lights not working. I can start in L/H/N/R/P. Checked both rear light bulbs, both look good. Any ideas why they’re not working?

I have now gone end to end on the ’02 660 I just bought. It was low miles and low time, but I left nothing to chance and replaced all the fluids, pad checks, bearings check, cleaned the Ultramatic; a once over like I would do on an airplane.

Now I get to the winch. I thought it was a stock Yamaha winch.

When determining why the winch cable was so chewed up, I found that the flange is broken and I need a new drum. The only markings I can find on the winch is a Model Number TR 9203, a serial number of WH 0309-B01, and stenciled in paint "2000 LB".

Question number one: Did ’02 660 Grizzlys come with a Warn winch?

Question number 2: If not a Warn, did Yamaha have their own brand winch?

Question number 3: If the answer to 1 and 2 are negative, does anyone have any idea what brand winch I have with these numbers?

Any help would be much appreciated!

Just bought.po had gotten rid of the left hand switches???I got one but for some reason the off switch is backwards? Doesn’t matter which way you put the wires.only two a brown an a black.but off will run an on kills it.I don’t understand can anyone help
