Any helpful input would be greatly appreciated thanks a lot!

Had to take advantage of last nice day

So buddy and I went for a ride exploring new territorry. Had go pro in helmet ready to go, but opted to leave it, and as per usual new ground, or, getting to and around new ground proved to be an adventure in itself again. Either way, 3 hours to go just over 15 miles, had to use the winch a handful of times per usual. Only took 1 picture, but we rode this stupid wash out trying to find a better place to get over it, I dropped in a shallow bank, whole thing was stright up and down 2-3′ cliff sides, and just had to go 10′ up to get to other shallower looking outlet. Well, super soft mud bottom, too narrow to squeeze with the fender flares, so they were scraping sides until I lost traction and dug in.

2 part winch, 1 straight back more less to where I dropped in, then a 90* pull to pop it up and over so it didn’t keep sliding down bank with nose in the ditch.

Found our way to some old stomping ground we use to ride back in early 2000, had to rock crawl up under a overpass since the water in that gully was far to deep to transverse, and that was nerve racking but exciting wit the basketball and larger/smaller boulders at whatever angLe they grade under bridges at. But hit it all, creek crossing, mud, forging path thru new Virgin timber, rocks, good day to be out before the deep freeze comes back in tomorrow.

You know you’re old ……

When you’ve added 2 couches with engines to your collection . Just picked up 1000xp I’ve read about the framebraces and the gearbox cover. This machine will see the mountains in Phoenix Hatfield And Mccoy’s in West Virginia in the sand dunes in Glamis California I doubt I will ever even use the four-wheel-drive feature do I need to bother with the gearbox cover ?
