Hey guys. Grizzly owner since 08. First time on GC. I have a 2008 700 special edition midnight armour. Love it and I have just over 6000kms on it cause I’m Canadian eh lol
I have a set of Moose heated grips and thumb warmer installed. They have been on my machine for 2 years now without any issues.
Recently one grip has stopped producing any heat. This is on the throttle side. The thumb warmer below, an the other grip works just fine.
Is it worth trying to trouble shoot this issue? Or would replacing everything save more time than it’s worth? I’d hate to spend a lot of time on this, maybe find a solution, maybe not, and then run into the same scenario next season on the other grip.
just got rid of my rene 1000, got this new bushed alluminium 850xt.
looking to see what all you power junkies are throwing on to gain some extra performance! i don’t think anyone has come out with cams and motor internals yet:th_smiliefrustrated…or have they?
I just joined and I need some help with my daughter’s 2011 RZR 170.
The issue is pretty intermittent, starts OK, then runs for a short time before sputtering, backfiring and eventually dying. I can keep it running sometimes by messing with the choke and throttle. then other times it runs great for a few hours and starts messing with us again…
Sounds like fuel air I figured… I have already, removed and cleaned carb, removed fuel pump and inspected and cleaned (looks to be good), drained and refilled fuel, reset pilot jet to factory setting, (2-2.5 turns out)
anyone ever have these issues? how did you resolve?
I went on my first long trip with my new Grizz towing a small trailer with 3 sliding windows for my deer stand. I was really pleasantly surprised at the MPGs I got compared to my old TRV 1000 Cat. Since I was comparing my Grizz to my old Cat I really missed the POWER or that feeling……………….I thought MAYBE I could cut the spark arrester out of my Grizz’s muffler and weld on a bigger tip, but before I do will I be needing a fuel programmer (all this lean talk has me VERY nervous) will this even give a power gain at all or just add noise?
Just wanted to say hey and tell everyone how excited I am to get my new 2016 Sportsman 570 w/EPS in Orange Burst color!! Looking forward to the great info on this forum.

Just curious as to how Honda is performing in market against all the other manufacturer’s .Are sales in 2016 up or down anyone know?
With the new Kodiak targeting the utility and rec space is it affecting Honda Sales in this space (Foreman)?
I also noticed that Dirt Wheels magazine have a comparison of a Rancher 420 against the Kodiak 700. I can’t believe they would compare these units against each other.
I see many here say you have to have the Power Commander along with the exhaust replacement to get the best performance. I have also read that some have just installed the PCV- AT with stock exhaust and are happy with the change in fuel that reduces the exhaust temp issue. How many of you have the dual channel AT compared to the single channel version? After taking the plastics off I think it is going to be pretty hard to fit the sensors on the headers but i could be wrong as i did not see dimensions of the sensors and weld bungs together. Any thoughts would be appriciated.
