Do you think I will notice the disadvantages of the default lean fuel of a 2016 at 6000′ elevation and above? If it will run funky I will order buy a controller so that I can install it before I start riding the 2016 Grizzly that I hope to get on Friday. Hopefully the lack of oxygen up here will balance the lean mixture.

This is a odd question but I was just curious if this could be done. Could u take a front differential out of a 300 Honda fourtrax and put the ring and pinion in the rear differential of a 2×4 and it work or is there a difference besides the number of teeth

I have a 2012 Recon I am looking at putting a lift on, it is amazing the price difference between a 2006 and 2012 when it comes to lifts. Is there any major difference in the 06 and 2012 that would keep a lift for an 06 from working on my 2012? My dad has a 2006 Recon and I have looked it over and don’t see any difference. I would rather spend $40 instead of $100 if possible lol.

After a lot of contemplation, I think I am going to pass on the single seat 570 version and go with a max L of some variety.

There are some great deals on the 2015 450 max right now…as low as $6466 for the DPS version.

Dirt trax reviewed the 450 max DPS and says it is a blast due to its power to weight ratio and quick low end torque of the single vs the twin. I also wonder if it does not run cooler than the 570 twin.

The 2015 still has the 5 year warranty…the 2016s have the 6 month.

Here is how it breaks down:

Did they do many updates on the 16s or should I pay less for a much longer warranty?

Or I can move up to a 570 for $7488…seems like the 2015 450 with 5 year warranty is the best deal…if there were not a lot of problems with year 1 that had to be fixed in the next model year. I guess 2016 was the first year for the 570, so maybe they are both "first year" bikes in reality.

I have 2003 Scrambler 500 HO and wanted to swap stock 4×4 Rear wheel hubs to 4×156 without any major changes. Does anyone knows what other models hubs would fit my atv and have 4×156 bolt pattern.

Any recommendations on replacement front shocks, this is only a work hack so don’t need ‘go faster’ shocks.
Any second hand ones may very well be in the same condition as the ones I have.
