So my question. I have a parts 97 Sportsman 500 with EBS and a 07 Sportsman 500 Non EBS. I’m wondering if I can swap the clutches from either of the Sportsman’s to test and see if my Magnum’s problem is the clutch. I don’t want to invest the $$ into either a new clutch or all of the tools and parts to rebuild and find out that is not my problem.

Having electrical issues with honda fourtrax
So the four wheeler will only start if I bridge the terminals of the solenoid. If I turn the ignition switch one, we don’t get headlights or the neutral light coming on. However, after the four wheeler is cranked via bridging the terminals, the stator/alternator/whatever it is called powers the lights and the neutral light. It cuts offs as soon as the four wheeler cuts off.
Admittedly I’m not one that knows an incredible amount about this stuff or the inner workings of a four wheeler. My assumption is that the plug for the solenoid is for closing the circuit when you cut the 4 wheeler ignition switch on? I’m unsure as to why when I cut the ignition switch on, we don’t get lights or the neutral light indicator coming on. Everything appears to be hooked up correctly.
Thanks in advance for your help. I have a multimeter I can use to check things. I just need a little direction as to where to go and an explanation of what things do, so I can conceptualize it all.

Anyone want to swap stock shocks for my Elka Stage 1R’s?
I was thinking I would prefer to sell the machine as stock as possible……so if anyone has a set of stock G2 shocks (dont know if outlander and renegade will swap?), and would want to trade+cash for mine, let me know?
THanks!!
