HMF Exhausts on a Polaris RZR XP 1000

The Polaris RZR XP 1000 HMF Dual Full System is available in the 4" Performance and 5" Titan Series. The Dual Full System picks up 4-5 horse power at high RPMs and 2lb of torque at the wheels. The Titan-QS exhaust has an exhaust tone that’s quieter than the stock muffler. The exhaust system also picked up more power when we installed the HMF Quiet Cores. Additionally, the aluminum shells and stainless head pipe weigh substantially less than stock.

Note: This system will use a wideband oxygen sensor that has 18MM threads and we absolutely recommend using the Dobeck AFR + Gen 4 fuel controller.

Stock Sound-Idle: 84 dB 4000 RPM: 95 dB
Performance-Quiet Cores: Idle: 86 dB 4000 RPM: 90 dB
Performance-No Quiet Cores: Idle: 92 dB 4000 RPM: 100 dB
Exhaust Fits: (15-16) RZR XP 1000, RZR XP 4 1000

2012 Rancher 420ES Running Rough??

My 2012 Rancher 420ES, 4×4, just started running strange. It has less than 100 hrs total time on it. I have noticed that after it warms up, and operating at slow speeds, usually in 2nd or 3rd gear it begins to cut out like there’s water in the fuel or it’s just not getting enough fuel. I also noticed that I can feel the heat coming off the engine from the riding position. The overheat light doesn’t come on and the electric fan is operating. This problem does not exist when I’m out on the open road going fast in the higher gears. If anyone else has experienced this with their Rancher, please chime in and let me know what the fix is…Thanks!!!

Beating a dead horse!!!!!!!!!!!!!LOL!!

I know engine oil as a topic has been discussed … but……..I have a Question it may be dumb but here goes!! I plan on buying AMSOIL 0w 40 4-stroke oil because it says it replaces a crap load of OEM oils and is wet clutch safe also I ride a lot in winter with tracks………good choice??

Can I please have the part# for an oil filter that fits a 2016 with the 708cc engine,(Wix or Baldwin etc…..) I would like to buy a higher capacity filter and not pay the crazy cost for OEM but if I have no choice. So be it!!

Clutch Compatibility

I have a 97 Magnum 425 4X4 and I think I have a bad clutch (Not sure if it’s the drive, driven, or both). It won’t climb the ramp onto my trailer even in low range when trying to drive it slow it is fine give it some gas and it feels like the brakes are on. Let off the gas and it feels like the clutch doesn’t release and it feels like it drags the rear wheels. The trans shifts into H L N and R easy and smooth. I jacked up the rear wheels and spun them in all gears and there was no binding, grinding, and they turned easily by hand.

So my question. I have a parts 97 Sportsman 500 with EBS and a 07 Sportsman 500 Non EBS. I’m wondering if I can swap the clutches from either of the Sportsman’s to test and see if my Magnum’s problem is the clutch. I don’t want to invest the $$ into either a new clutch or all of the tools and parts to rebuild and find out that is not my problem.
