Red glowing headers

Hi. I have an 07 polaris predator 500. That I recently flipped over. And a couple days after the flip I notice that my headers are glowing red. Does any one know what the problem is. I also checked my oil and it was a little low. Could that be it? Thank you

July 4th weekend with our Scramblers

Finally got to put some serious miles on our new Scramblers over July 4th weekend. We did 325 miles over the weekend and I was so impressed with their performance. I really got to open my 1000 up and the power and acceleration is excellent. It tops out at 80 mph and gets there quickly. I love how the tuning and clutching of it makes it totally docile at low speeds and rpm’s and can crawl around any tight trail as easily as anything out there. But as soon you hit half throttle or more it accelerates and pulls hard. The suspension and ride is really smooth and it handles like a much lighter atv. I hope they both continue to be reliable atv’s because they are our favorite rides to date.

Which secondary?

Changing the secondary spring finally and can’t decide on which one, all the posts I’m finding on the topic are pretty old and haven’t answered my questions exactly and would like some new input.

I have a 700 with 28" mega mayhems, 660 weights, 1.2mm shim. I’m going up to 1.5-1.7mm of shim as I feel I’m not getting enough low end and am too cheap to go the machined route since I don’t ride fast anymore and don’t need the top speed.

Should I go purple, gold, or white spring? I do mostly mud and crawling and rarely get above 30mph anymore.

Any help is appreciated.
Thanks, Cody

Gold Fever Imogene Pass 2016

Last year, Ridgway took us to this area to look for rocks with gold, I caught the gold fever last year, does CRAZY stuff to a mans….womans? mind. I know from personal experience. So, lets see how my wife does.

On the way up to Imogene Pass, "Hey honey, there is where Jim took us to find the rocks with gold". We can stop on the way back down when it is warmer……

So we stopped…

wife started looking….

starting to get serious so I thought

better Gold over here maybe

That is where the Gold is?

Helmet is coming off now!

We are digging for Gold now

I need to get comfy….

still more, let me post this one

400EX ‘struggling’ in wheelie

Hello one and all. I noticed something strange my machine is doing, only in a slow(ish) wheelie. It seems like it is running out of fuel at an @11:00 angle? I can clutch it up into a wheelie no problem, but after about 10 feet, any throttle input just sounds like "buh-buh-buh-buh", and has none of the smooth acceleration/power I get when level . It’s weird that it only does it at those angles??? Runs good on level surface.

Currently running a 42 pilot, 165 main, Outerwear lid cover, K&N filter, stock exhaust. Pilot screw doesn’t seem to make much difference with regards to position, right now it’s at 1 5/8 turns out.

Any tips and advice is greatly appreciated!
