Removing sway bar nuts???

I’ve been spinning the nuts but not making any progress and then I noticed the bolts have allen wrench sockets. Do I need to secure the bolt with an allen wrench while wrenching the nut off?

I was hoping to remove the sway bar without removing the wheels but it looks like that isn’t possible. Are there any tips for this? I should get the service manual. This is for a 2016 Grizzly.

New guy from the Mitten

Hi guys, just trolling around right now. Looking to purchased my first quad in the next 30 days. I have been doing a lot of research and I think I have decided on a Outty MAX XT-P 1000. Reason is that the wife and I are looking to get out and about and I would like to take it out on my own and tear it up. maybe pick up some Apache tracking.
Does anyone have any idea on what a good 0ut the door price for a new 2016 would be?

Thanks guys and look forward to the forum.

2016 Outlander l 570 performance mods.

Hey guys wanted to start this thread before all my stuff shows up to get some opinions. Order an rjwc slip on and the rjwc optimizer for the ride a couple weeks ago should be here next week. Super stoked! Also order a cv tech yesterday from atv tires Canada. I did some research on this forum and the web in general trying to learn all I can about these clutches. After talkin to Phil at atv tires canada he is sending me a set up for a 650. He called cv tech and this is what they suggested. Now I’m still a little fuzzy on the terminology. So I assume I’ll have to do some fine tuning to get this clutch just right but what does shift out mean? And what is the optimal shift out? Also wondering if I should install the clutch first and get it dialed in before the exhaust. Or should I do it the other way around. Will the optimizer make a huge difference on any of these factors? I should mention also that I have a red secondary spring from epi. You guys think this set up will work or an I askin for trouble.
What u guys think?

Hello all,

I’ve been reading the forum for a long time now never posted, just read threads. Lots of useful info that I’ve used time and time again.

I bought a 2014 sportsman 570 about a year and a half ago and I couldn’t be any happier. Mostly bought it for plowing but since have been to silver lake sand dunes and local trails and orv parks, and in the beginning stages of planning an annual Michigan U.P. Trip starting next year.

Anywho it feels good to be a part of the community and we’ll talk soon.

P.S. Attached are recent photos of my quad and mods that I’ve done.

Crappy Chinese parts-ARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi all,

I bought a new starter solenoid for my 86 TRX200SX a month ago. Installed it along with a new (American made) rectifier regulator, new battery, etc.

My battery kept draining….I couldn’t figure it out so I took it into the shop for troubleshooting. Guess what? That brand new solenoid is grounding…stopping the battery from charging and it was turning the starter motor on. So, my "new" solenoid cost me a fat troubleshooting fee.

I’m soooo ticked off, these parts are crap!! Everyone I email states that their starter solenoids are made in China….this is ridiculous!

WHERE can I find a new American or Japanese made starter solenoid? Really hoping someone has a good lead!
