My clutch drum was burnt so I ordered another one but have a question about the difference between the new and old drum. The needle bearing in the old drum is held in with a circlip. The new drum doesn’t have the ring cut into it where the circlip would sit. Do I need to put the needle bearing in the new drum without the circlip or is the bearing not needed anymore?
