Life got the best of me this year and to make a long story short my ’11 Grizz 700 has a half tank of gas (w/ no stabilizer) and hasn’t been started for around 9 or 10 months. I have apologized to it and promised this will never happen again, but in the meantime I’m faced with what to do to remedy the problem. Ideally I suppose I should get the tank off and drain the gas, replacing with non-EtOH gas (which thankfully I just found in my area).
Any advice on how to get this done (draining the tank) or how difficult it might be?
I have a 2011 Ranger 800 crew , had a engine miss and traced it down to a Broken Injector wire at the Injector end . I repaired the connector (Polaris only sales the injector and harness as a unit) but silly me when wiring the Injector crossed the wires , When cranked it ran perfect for two maybe three seconds and died . Hasn’t started since . Thinking I mat have fried the ECU. Can anyone confirm this . Will wiring a injector wrong burn the ECU ??
Recently Purchased a 2014 Sportsman 570 used via a private seller. Has about 975 Miles. The only problem I can find is a slight leak from the front differential. I have already purchased two seals online, just waiting for them to be delivered. The differential has a some play, I have attached a video, is this amount of play normal ? I am now wondering if I will also have to replace components inside of the actual differential…

I’ve got 6 quads and 2 dirt bikes. The quads range from 700cc down to 90cc. We used to let the older grandkids ride the adult quads but after hearing stories of friends knowing families that had kids seriously hurt or killed riding adult quads we decided to put an end to that and bought some kids quads and a kids dirt bike. The first quads were chinese and they were a royal PITA. So I ended up buying a new Polaris Outlaw 90 in 2014 and a new Yamaha TTR110. Figured that would end my need to constantly repair the kids rides. WRONG!
I now have issues with the Outlaw 90 and I’m looking for some help with this issue. I’ve ordered the service manual but that will take 1 1/2 to 2 weeks to arrive. I want to get this fixed before my grand daughter comes to visit in 3 weeks so I started taking things apart without the service manual. I will go into this further in another post after I figure out how to post pics and videos on this forum.

Once my ’09 450 Griz is warmed up, it will not take much of a throttle before bogging down, only reaching 11-19 mph. It’s used with about 2,900 miles, and had ran great for the past year. Now it fits right up and idles fine.
What I know:
Air filter is clean;
Gas flows into carb freely;
Gas is clean;
The Griz has been ridden frequently and has not been sitting for extended periods.
What I’ve heard:
Carb problems, dirty electrical connections, faulty limiter.
It seems this is a common problem, but I have not heard the solution. And go!
I have a Fourtrax 2016 Foreman Rubicon. But, the owner’s manual does NOT give a number for the oil filter. Canadian Tire said that a CH6007 Fram filter was correct. NOT close. Can you help?

I had a 2014 Sportsman 570 that I just sold and bought a brand new 2016 Sportsman 750 EPS. My 2014 had a massive amount of rust on it. I bought it used and the rust was there when I bought it. IT did not make sense that a 2 year old quad had so much rust. I figured the previous owner left it out in the rain all year round for it to look like that, but the dealer I bought it from used told me that’s normal.
When I went to sell it privately, every potential buyer was turned off by the rust and said its unreal for a 2 year old quad to have that rust, as I thought too.
Anyways, I want to prevent my new 2016 model from rusting like the 2014 had. I have had many used quads and dirt bikes, these are the two newest I have ever owned, most were late 90s and early 2000s and they did not have as much rust as the 2014 Sportsman. Maybe Polaris uses cheap paint or something, I don’t know.
What can I do to prevent rust on the new quad? I bought some Polaris Never Rust spray I found in the store, I had never seen before. I have asked around and no one knows anything about it, no one at the dealer has an information or ever used it either. Is this safe to use / spray all over the quad? Is it worth it / does it actually help? How often should it be used? Can it be sprayed on the motor / exhaust? How about on joints, will it affect the grease and cause issues?
Hey everyone, first time buyer of a Can-Am. I have a 2016 850XT. Had a much older Honda Big Red before, so this is a huge upgrade:yahoo:. I’m up in Northern Ontario so lots of bush roads and trails to ride.:aniwheeler6: I bought it new in January but didn’t start riding until I had to put my sled away around the end of April :pi_cry:. I know I am weird in that I definitely prefer snow and sledding but my Can-Am is a great way to still ride in the summer. Since though I have put almost 1,600km so far in the last 3.5 months on it. Love it, rides great. I had to do some mods to get it to suit my needs (okay, wants…) but I have lots of fun on it.
I joined this forum as I really appreciated all the help and advice given to others. What I learned here about Can-Am’s was influential in my choosing a Can-Am (I am partial to BRP as well, my sled is a Ski-Doo and I love it). I hope to be able to contribute back to the Can-Am community as well.
