What is the best torque wrench to buy to use on low torque bolts? I need one that will go as low as 5 lb/ft. I don’t plan on using it a lot, only changing oil filters and oil plugs on my Rancher mostly so I don’t want to pay an arm and a leg for one. What kind do you guys use? Thanks.

Pogoman: I have a Polaris 700. Cannot find a 17-digit VIN. Found a 7-digit number inside the front left-side wheel well. Polaris Number 1240084. Can someone tell me when it was manufactured? I’m guessing prior to 1999.

:icon_cool: I have been looking over this forum for a long time and joined because I need help with a 2007 Honda 420 ES. It is not shifting out of neutral until it has fully warmed up. once it has warmed up I can shift in all forward gears as I please. No trouble shifting in reverse at any time, No codes blink, No indication on the control panel as described in the other post I have looked over. Thought it was the electric shift motor but that has been changed 2 days ago and shifts like new(Once warmed up). Brand new battery, changed it out right before the shift issues due to it was old and had a bad cell. Any help on this issue will greatly be appropriated.
I’ve been going over everything on my high-hour Outlander 650 the last few weeks, trying to fix everything that could possibly break this season.
I’m replacing the rollers and buttons in the primary clutch, one of the rollers had a pretty bad flat spot on it. I just noticed today that one of the weights has worn down the side of the clutch housing, and this is probably the source of the noise I’ve been hearing since I bought the bike (A little tick at idle that goes away when the clutch engages).
I’m wondering if anyone has seen this happen before, and if it would be alright to make a spacer to keep the weight from rattling around. I’m hoping to find a solution that doesn’t involve replacing the housing, as I don’t have the spare change right now to replace it. My mechanic told me it would be alright to run as is until I can replace it, but I’d like to quiet it down and prevent further wear until that happens.
Hey guys I just need some help from someone that has a little experience in tires that can be used on the Rancher. Right now I have brand new 25" tires all the way around and I was just wondering if it hurts the Quad in any way having the same size on the front and back.
