Member Geerig is the mad max, road rage, deer slayer of the midwest. He and his work beater Toyota corolla that is. On his way to work this a.m. he texted me pic of car he drove back home, and said he hit a deer broadside that jumped out of the ditch. Later in the day he sent me a text that his wife went to scope out the area, and there were 2 dead deer, 1 on each side of road and it helped explain why left side of his car got so mangeled.
Well, just got pictures, and it was 3 deer total. Don’t know if mama gave birth before dieing, or if it was popped on on impact, or what, so 2 adult and 1 infant deer at same time…amazing stuff.
So, I found several post on here about the 2007 having insufficient cooling and burning up. I don’t have exterior oil lines on my crankcase so I assume mine didn’t get the update by the previous owner. So I’m going to get the parts and do the update.
BUT, looking at the parts list from this forum, the parts are for a 2009 Grizzly not an 2007. Usually when there is an update they will list the original part number, have it crossed out, and list the new/current replacement number. Before I unload around $200 on parts I want to make sure I get the correct parts for my 2007 Grizzly.
Example:
2007 parts list says- 3b4-15411-00-00
Part listed on forum says 3b4-15411-10-00 which is says is for an 2009-2013 model.
Which is it?
I bought a 250r 2 stroke motor for my trx250r and I’m trying to figure out more info on it. The vin is TB06E 8002703. Inside the cylinder sleve it is stamped 87 ha2. Also ha2 on head and crank. Can someone give me details?
Went with full muzzy exhaust on my 2015 xmr 1000 and I have the 1000s stock exhaust in a box. I have a 2012 xmr 800 I was just wondering if I could use my stock exhaust from my 1000 on the 800?
I have a 1993 Honda Fourtax 300 2×4 that I’m rebuilding. The 2×4 model (to my knowledge) does not have rear mud flaps, but the 4×4 model does. Could a guy put 4×4 flaps on the 2×4 rear with some handywork?
I just bought a new rear driveshaft bolt (diff end). It comes with the yellow thread lock on it. We all know it works well. I asked the guy at parts if it was supposed to be heated prior to installing and he had no idea. I assume so, as it’s already applied to the thread.
Can someone confirm?
Hello all. When I was younger I always wanted an ATV but never got one. Just played on my friends and families. About 5 months ago me and the wife talked about getting a small one for our girls for Christmas. So we went to our local dealership. Oh boy did that open Pandora’s box! Soon after we bought the 110 Polaris outlaw for the girls we bought a 2016 Highlifter 1000, 2016 850 scrambler, and a 2007 700R Raptor. These machine are so much better than the ones I road when I was in my early teens! I love riding each one of them. The only issue so far is my Highlifter’s front differential broke the first time I really decided to play in some deep mud. Searching the net for fixes is what led me to this website. That’s about the only positive I have been able to come up with out of the situation. I’m looking forward to soaking up some knowledge and sharing my experience.
Who knows the sizes of the ends for the front flex hose from master cylinder on handle bar (banjo end) down to the end where the Tee fitting is? Need a 3"longer one and before taking it off so I can get the thread size/style aND banjo size then I can do some homework without pulling it apart. Or if someone knows of a part # that will work. (I Put a 5" riser on) Cheers justin
I’m looking at getting a basket for the back of my 2016 Rubicon. Was looking at the Strong Made baskets. Do you guys buy directly from them or do you go through a dealer or supplier?
