Do you guys know where I can get a Honda hrc needle jet kit and if there is any difference between the years because I was told I need a hrc needle jet kit for a 2006 trx450r for the current exhaust & intake setup I’m running in my outlaw.
Neutral light doesn’t come on. Idk if that’s only reason why it won’t start or if there is a different reason. I’ve tested the battery with a multimeter got a reading 12.63.. if I hold my wrench to the starter solenoid and it starts.
i have a 2006 rubicon 500 that started to act up me and i need some help. The quad wouldn’t leave first gear.It happened about a month ago but never did it again. well the last couple quad rides it keeps doing it.
heres what i found that fixes it and it sounds weird. as soon as you start the ATV i shift into either D1 or D2 ( doesnt matter) and start driving right away before the computer has time to get to the regular sceen the quad works. I can ride like this until i slow right down or stop. If it screws up again i just shut it off and do the same thing and it works so i can continue riding. i know something is wrong and don’t want to be doing this to fix it.
i don’t want to ride too often to troubleshoot but i found hen i cross a river or something it almost instantly which kind of makes me feel like water in a connector or something to do with the shifting. i don’t know where to look and need some help. Obviously the transmission has a electronic sensor or something and that might water in it, i just don’t know where or what to look for I want to say thanks in advance.
I’m and newbie from York, PA. I bought my first Can Am today and couldn’t be happier. It’s not brand new but it only had 357 miles on it. I bought a 2009 Can Am Outlander 800R XT in black and love it. I look forward to reading and learning from the forums here and perhaps starting a few threads of my own.
New to the grizzly world. I recently picked up a 2016 SE for fishing, hunting, and messing around. Debadged it the first night and I think it looks sharp. I love it so far…just the first 100 miles of the break in. I made it street legal already and I have a cargo box for the rear rack in the mail, heated grips on the shelf, along with a fuse block waiting to be installed for future accessories. New fluids are waiting for the first service and I’m clocking how far I can get on a tank, just to get a feel for it. Other items on my wish list include magnetic drain plugs (Gold…assuming the length issue is resolved for the rear diff?), LED bar for the front, back up light, winch, EHS fuel controller, and skid plates (way down the road). I would like to get a service manual and learn to adjust the valves…never done the shim under bucket type. I understand the idea and steps, but never removed to cams before and I could see my butter fingers dropping something into the case. Anyone know the valve clearance specs?? I would at least like to check them for peace of mind during the first service. I enjoy reading the forums and learning from everyone.
Was winching out another ranger and heard/felt a loud bang. The threads on the mounting bolts stripped themselves out under load except for one bolt which caused the following carnage you are about to see in these pictures:
