Is there a certain way, or special way for putting in the kickstart spindle. I put mine in, and it’s making a whining noise when I start the motor. I do everything correct, like it tells me to do. I take the kickstart off, and put everything back together and it sounds fine. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks guys.
Hi guys I’ve been searching the threads and have a tech question as to the difference in the axle from 2015-2016! I cannot find axles on eBay or anywhere other then factory parts…IMO for just an outer rear cv shaft bearing and boot 160$ is ridiculous so I was wondering if their were any changes in the axle shafts I.E. Spline count or shaft diameter? as you can get new ones for 2015 models for less like 100$… My ride has less then 200 miles on it and already got a torn boot should that be covered under warranty? My guess is a rock got stuck on them cheap crappy plastic skid plates and caused the issue. Any thoughts tips or help would be appreciated! :gcrules:
So my 05 sportsman has way more rear camber than anything I’ve ever seen, and all the bushings seem to be intact. The cv angles were bad enough with the lift alone, but with the camber it looks like it’s going to eat the cv joints. The ride is perfect even with the angle, it’ll go 70 down the road without any pulling or death wobble, I just don’t want to break the axles and once I can afford bigger tires they’ll be rubbing on the suspensionwith that much neg camber. Anyone know how to adjust it? I can’t find anything on google. I attached a picture but it really looks worse in person :biglaugh: Thanks

Ok i have a 2005 400ex, i just did a complete top end rebuild, i have about 9 hours on the rebuild, it ran fine until my last ride. it will only start with the choke completely on and when it does start it is bogging out really bad until i get it to the top end of the gear, it does it in every gear. And when it goes back down to the low end it goes back to bogging down. Things I’ve done to try and fix it. Adjusted the valves, brand new carb rebuild kit and fresh oil change and gas. The next thing I was gonna replace is the valve assembly cut off valve in the carb next the the throttle cable. If that doesn’t work I’m out of ideas. If you have an idea please shed some light to help me out.

I am restoring an 86 TRX70 and I am unable to find a replacement throttle cable. Honda discontinued the oem 17920-HB2-305. What options do i have to fix the throttle cable?
