So I upgraded my gauge to the XTP gauge on a 2012 1000 XT. As soon as i powered up the new gauge I had a message come up saying… DPS Overheat Check DPS. I never had this message before and the DPS is working fine.
I took the machine to the dealer to pair the new gauge with the machine. I thought this would clear the error. But it didn’t!! The dealer is stumped. I know there are a lot of issues talked about the DPS overheating, but I don’t think there is an issue with the actual unit because I wasn’t driving (can’t be hot) and I heard other people had the same issue when they upgraded their gauge. I have not found any solutions.
I have one bought but have not activated it yet…might be carrying it back. Seems like clunky technology for the price of the unit and a year subscription.
I’ve got a 94 400l 4×4 without a speedometer, I’ve got a replacement but it’s from a 07 Kodiak 350. I was told it pretty much the some but the wiring is definitely different. Would someone have a wire diagram on this or know how I could jimmy rig this this work? Any help is appreciated.

I heard do not completely fill a.front diff,b.rear diff,c.trans??when
hot,one of them will overflow breather,resulting in smoke off of eng.??which one??—any other service advice appriciated—

I have a 1993 300 and when I pull up on the shifter it doesnt disengage out of gear, it just shifts. It also shifts very easily, too loose. This problem started after I got finished putting in new clutch plates. What could be wrong?
My compression is at about 100-110 and im gonna change the rings. what manual should i get or instructions to understand how to do this because i’ve never done this before.

New to the forum, I am having Starter problems. This atv has never used a full tank of fuel, it’s like new. However it just all of a sudden stopped cranking, it just click , I replaced the starter now the starter just sound like it is spinning. Should I be able to spin the starter gear in both directions or should it lock up(gear on engine)
