2016 outlander 850 has 12 hours on it took it for the last ride before it’s 1st oil change went to fill up in the middle of the ride open the gas cap fuel came shooting out 70 degree day out guys got any solutions for this? Or what would be the best complain to the dealer since still under warranty wrap the exhaust pipe looking for all and any input it’s a brand new machine I switched from polaris never had this issue thanks for the help

Oil pressure light came on after a higher speed run (40mph). Felt like power was on/off til I stopped and machine stalls to a stop. I shut key off for a minute or so & light is off and runs normal at slower speeds. I’m thinking that the pressure switch is at fault. I unplugged connection and cleaned it out & used dielectric grease inside connection. I did this with the speedo sensor also but it still doesn’t want to work. Speedo worked when we bought it a month ago & only have two rides on it since we got it. All fluids were changed before riding for the first time. Thanks for your help. Ken

hey guys my kids outty 1000 wont start and it has THr on the bottom of guage.I have checked fuses,relays,3 big fuses at battery,unplugged the dobeck controller,pulled fuel line off and pumped fuel out,new plugs,took battey cables off and on…bike cranks good but no start…it was running yesturday for him….thxs

I have recently rebuilt my 2005 Sportsman 700 and redid the carb as well, all stock.
I can get the engine to start and run but need choke and to feather throttle. Runs nice however high rpm when I do this. If I let off the throttle at all it stalls. If while revving push in the choke it backfires very harshly out the exhaust and then stalls. My first thoughts were pilot screw circuit blocked, so apart the carb came and clean again making sure that the idle circuit was spotless. Float height checked. Adjusted pilot screw to 2.5 turns out from lightly seated and in went the carb. Well nothing changed to how it ran. It runs the same with air box on or off. Checked exhaust pipe and had installed new donuts too. Idle screw not turned in very much at all as it appeared not to have any effect right now anyhow.
What am I missing?

Probably going for my first ride of the year tomorrow (that isn’t on my own property). Going to Elkhorn Lake & Campgrounds in Java, VA. They just opened the trails for the season Friday. Tried all morning to get someone to go today but couldn’t find anyone willing. Hopefully I’ll get someone to go tomorrow.

Today I was riding lightly, with everything working fine. A half hour in I went to blip the throttle while in gear and moving and instead of it shooting forward the grizz stayed put and would only begin to crawl once i got it up to 3/4 throttle. There wasnt any belt smoke either so i think it was something else.
Anyone heard of this problem or had it happen to them? Thanks

Changed fuel pump, fuel filter, spark plug, and injector, gets fuel all the way to the injector and it will run if you spray starter fluid so it’s getting fire, fuel pump hums for a few seconds the thing by the intake spins, and the relay clicks what else could it be?

So, my 1987 TRX350 has been smoking lately, and its at random time when it does, but no oil is lost, im stumped, and was wondering why its doing this

Hey all. Looking to get a Provantage Front Mount Plow system for my 2016 Grizzly. I know spring is around the corner and we should be done with snow (unless you live in Denver haha). I figure there should be some good deals out there. Been looking for the kit with a 60" blade. The best deal I have found so far is $464.95 and free shipping. This way I won’t be in a rush to get it assembled before the first snow falls. Anybody know of any better deals out there?
