I am interested in a 525, I have read up on here about them, but what do I really need to look for when looking at one. Are all years the same pretty much?

Do I really want the irs for trail riding? I have never had irs before, but it looks like a lot of extra parts that will wear and break compared to the straight axle. Does one handle a big butt better than the other?

How do these machines hold up?

Will the fender flares for a 2006 outlander 400 fit on my 2004 outlander 400? Looking at pics, it seems like it will fit. Looking for your input from experience. thanks

I have been doing some searching on the net for rear winch mounting brackets for a 2016 850 XMR. Given the fact that my front winch failed the first time I used it, I thought it best to double up on the Winch options. (Please see my other post on this issue.)

I would like to be able to retain the ability to tow a trailer, but I also want to permenantly mount a rear winch. Does anyone make such a product?

So, my first ride on my 2016 850 XMR didn’t go exactly as planned. After some very light cruising around to seat my belt, I decided to try some very light mud with friends. (2-2.5 feet at most.) While the XMR was a real beast in the muck, (very pleased with the bike itself), I did run into one very troubling issue.

When winching out a friend who had high sided on a submerged stick, (1st time I used the winch), the winch just died. The funny part was, the winch hadn’t even began to pull tight. (No tighter than 2-3 men could pull the cable, maybe 300-400 lbs of force.) All of a sudden I got a grinding noise from my winch and it wouldn’t go forward or backwards. (Real fun as I had 40 ft of cable out.) We tried to figure it out in the field, but given the poor weather and general mud up in the winch area, we gave up and I rode 5 kms home with the 40 ft of extended cable wrapped around my front bumper. Not exactly a good first ride for a nearly 20K bike…

When we got back to my garage, we cleaned the bike off and discovered that the winch had literally exploded. It had split its casing lengthwise along the tip of the winch and its internals were reduced to metal shavings. She is going back to the dealer to have it replaced tomorrow, but I was wondering if anyone else has had this issue or any thoughts on what might have happened?

I am a proud new owner of a 2016 Can-Am Outlander Max XT 650. I love this thing! But I had some questions about accessories and fit. There are a few accessories that I’d like to get over time, but would like to know if they are capable of all fitting together. My dealer has never installed the flasher and horn kit EVER. So I’d like to make sure all these accessories fit together before I buy too much of them and find out after the fact after they are all bought. Also, does the flasher and horn kit include the European style controls with the integrated horn button and directional flasher? I have been unable to determine this from an online search.

I am trying to navigate this site on an iPhone, it’s proven to be troublesome. Maybe it’s just me. Anyway, I just picked up a ’14 700 today, which is my first ATV, and I’m stoked! If there’s anything I should know about the ’14 Grizz that I might already not know (basics), then I’m game to absorb…. Even jokes for "the new guy." Undoubtably pictures will be requested, she looks amazing.. Just gotta figure out how to make that happen for y’all.

05′ 660 with 686 big bore, 10:1 compression, FMF pipe and uni filter. No other mods, not snorkeled, stock carb. 1900 feet elevation.

What would you run for jets?
