Unfortunately, despite my best attempts to get this thing running right, it continues to plaque me with issues. I bought it in the winter, so really never noticed the smoke as an issue as it seemed to be just doing it due to cold air outside. Now its warmer, and it continues to do it, blue smoke when I start it as well as run it. From what I have read, I am assuming it is either rings or valve seals? This is unfortunately starting to stretch my abilities, as I’ve never torn into an engine. I have no idea what to look for, what it might be, or how to do it. I’m not sure if I managed to pull it apart (i have the service manual) that I would even be able to tell what was bad or what wasn’t. It is really worth trying to figure it out or just bring it to a shop? Or if I do it myself what would I need, or if a shop does it what can I expect to pay (roughly)? I really like the quad but man is it a pain in the….well you know lol. Thanks for any and all help!

2007 420 Rancher Fuel system is good all the way to the injector something electrical is causing the injector not to inject any gas or not enough to run, yes it’s getting spark and yes the Injector is new and works something is causing it not to inject gas is my only guess

Been gone for a while. I had sold my 850 and missed having a quad a lot so I went out and got a ’15 570. It’s got a Polaris 2500# winch, front and rear bumpers, hand guards and 66" glacier pro poly plow. Also msa rims and swamplites. Just took all the stickers off today.
So was looking to purchase a good street wheel tire set for my 2016 4 seater razor. I found these I’ve linked below. I also would like to know what size would be good? My razor is pretty much all stock and I want a good street tire and as tall as I can put on it for a good tall street gear. Any suggestions or input? It would be appreciated.
Just read how another member had problems after installing his machined sheave and shim(s).
Thought I’d do an updated regarding my own situation.
By no means was I knocking Coops work in my previous post! Ended up tearing everything down again. Cleaned the clutches again along with the belt. Reassembled along with shim, this time, and the thing runs like a scalded cat!
I’ll admit that I screwed up! When I greased the shaft and collar grease splattered where it shouldn’t have been.
Anyway, took it out for a spin and I’m quite impressed with the machined sheave and 1mm shim combo. Looking forward to trying it on some hills once the trails have had a chance to dry. Think I’m going to be more than content with this setup. :gcrules:
Installed Dynatek controller and POD throwing code 39 and bike won’t start. Checked and reconnected injector and TPS, still got 39. Removed controller and reconnected stock. Still getting code 39 and bike won’t start!! Install seemed straight forward, now a nightmare. Is there a way to reset diagnostics back to original and clear error?
These are the best trail conditions of the year to ride. Lots of Snow and Dirt (SNIRT), Snow and Mud (SNUD). Plenty of good old Mud, Snow, Ice and Trail ripping.
