Well,
Finally got the unit out for a good ride this weekend on the handyman special (06 sportsman 500 efi), fired up and everything was running fantastic. After about 30 minutes of riding I notice the idle was giving me issues again, seemed to go away and then return again for a few cycles. Once I shut the machine off it was difficult to start but could get it going with some throttle…Odd seeing that its EFI. Starts no problem with the throttle wide open. ??
Why would it start with throttle wide open? and rough idle afterwards… Air fuel mixture?
Machine will restart with no issue when cooled down.
Got it running again and wiggled some wires and was able to get mixed results.
What is the best way to check the wiring on the machine. DC volts or OHMs to ground our to positive. I don’t want to fry a module or computer.
After much reading on here I ordered the connector kit from OTB but the being able to start it when warm only with throttle wide open has me confused.
Hello fellas. I am in the process of replacing a cv boot on my rear axle. I have dissassembled the outter side of the axle. I have the ball bearings gage and the little piece inside the cage out of the end on the axle. My question, is there a specific way to put the little piece inside the cage, and the cage inside the axle? And how do I get the cage and the ball bearings back inside the end of the axle? I’ve seemed to have tried every order
I currently running 26" HTRs on 4+3 SS wheels and wanting to move up to some 28’s. I am looking at the superAtv intimidators in a 28x10x14 on all 4 corners. Will i have any issues running that size tire with the offset wheels i have? Suspension is stock.

Hey guys ive got a 2012 800 efi and the cooling fan comes on within minutes of it running and never shuts off but when you turn off the bike and put the key to run position the fan doesant come on as it would it it was running hot any ideas what could cause this. Thanks

Hello all ! I have a 2002 Magnum 325 4×4 and was curious if there’s a filter inside the 3-way gas valve (petcock)? If so, is there a way to clean or remove it ? Parts manual doesn’t show a filter but have read there is one ? Then again I’ve heard of muffler belts 🙂
