I have an Outy 800 without the power steering. Now that I have a set of tracks on it I was thinking it would be really nice to have it. Has anyone tried adding it, and was it difficult or a waste of $ and time? Any brands that should be avoided? Thanks for your help

OK, if you’ve been following my other posts you know I’ve swamped it and now have a knock and overheating. Really leaning towards starting with the 800 BBK since I don’t have to remove the engine and see if this clears up the issues. If not then I’m really not out anything since I would need those anyway if splitting the case and doing a full rebuild.
My question is how difficult is it to install the fuel/air tuner/programmer that will be needed after a BBK? I’m very mechanical but never fiddled with fuel to air ratios or mixtures. Do you need some sort of sensor to stuff in the tail pipe to read the gasses to get it tuned correctly? Can you buy the pre-programmed?

For anyone looking for a set of sport tires, Rocky Mountain has their larger ITP Holeshots on sale for a very reasonable price ($59.99 for 22x7x10 fronts & their 21" rear ones are discounted, too).
I had them on the rear already & decided to get in on the deal for the fronts…Just thought I’d pass the information along.
Well, I wasn’t paying much attention to my front brakes until it was too late. Now my brake pads and caliper pistons are completely shot.
What are my best options for replacing/upgrading? Naturally my local dealer wants an arm and a leg for the parts and I’m not sure where to look for replacements.

Hey guys I was going to buy used , new and back on the used wagon I am going to look at a 2014 Can Am Outlander 800r XT-P , It has a little over 2000KM on it. Was just wondering is there anything specific to that model or year I should look for?
Thanks for any help, I will have a couple people with me when looking at it, but this is my first atv so the more I know the better I feel.:th_smiliebanana2:

Finally able to get out and get some miles on my grizzly, and I’ve noticed that if I put the handle bars straight it pulls to the right. I have to keep them pulled to the left just a tad to keep it straight. We’re not talking much either, what could be causing this?
