Hey guys, new member here. I picked up a 2013 scrambler 850xp le. Read alot about issues with this year and model. I have the steering play everyone seems to have. My question is about the lagging throttle response. I adjusted the throttle cable, and it helped a little but not a snappy response. Is this normal for this quad? I also ride a 06 predator and a wolverine 450, which do not have this issue. Any ideas? Or is this issue with belt driven quads
It’s that time again. Posting up an invitation for anyone that would like to join Skeg and myself for a ride at mclean creek this Saturday. If youd like to meet up just drop a pm and let us know. We usually meet around 8am and get in a good day of riding! Hope to see ya out there

Took my 15 sportsman 850 out playing in the mud and there was a drop off we didn’t see long story short took water in clutch exhaust and after I took belt off and cleaned everything best i could since i dont have a puller yet seems the primary is not disengaging all the way any ideas?
I have owned this bike for 6-7 years with no starting issues until now. When you press the starter button, the starter spins and all the gears below do too. I removed the mag side cover to look at things. I removed the flywheel where the starter clutch is attached. The starter clutch seems to work as it should. When you spin the flywheel, you can see that side of the crank moving and whatever the gear is you can towards the front of the crank moving also.
If you put the bike in gear and move the wheels, the crank and flywheel turn, but its not turning over the rest of the motor. I removed the forward valve cover to see if anything moves there, nothing does.
I had no issues when I rode the bike earlier in the day.
Hello everyone,
I am working on a sportsman 500 HO EFI 2006 model year for my friend and have 0 experience with polaris ATVs. What he said happened is he hooked up the battery wrong this spring, the atv cranked over and died. He put in a new solenoid and not it has no power to anything. What I have done to it.
I replaced the fusible link coming off the red wire to the solenoid. Still no power. I have power from the battery to the solenoid.
I do not have power on the other side of the solenoid the fusible link hooks into.
It will crank the engine over if I jump the terminals.
I found the original solenoid and the blue wire in the connector is melted right off
My question is what is down stream from that blue wire to begin testing, and where would find a decent a wiring diagram online? I have not been able locate one. I have found lots of the service manuals for my arctic cats but the polaris manuals seem to be not available unless you order one from a dealer.
I have pictures of the wiring, the burnt out solenoid, and the VIN if you need that for more information.
Located in central il and will drive a few hours if needed. Looking to spend around 5k if anyone knows of decent deal sitting around? I’m checking craigslist a couple times a day aso well.
I want higher handlebars on my bike and im wondering if theres any available? here is a moose one but it only says its for 2×4 but mines a 4×4. I’m thinking it should fit both. and how hard are these to install? http://www.sears.com/moose-racing-mo…SPM12142023516
So on my ’87 TRX 350 i have all the plastics except the cover for the kickstart and fuel petcock, and the little vent looking thing for the same side, anyone know what the names for these are or a place where i can get them?
