Stripped thread in engine block

Hey guys, so after removing my clutches and the rear cvt cover for cleaning and doing snorkel extentions I was installing the rear cover to the engine and broke 2 of the bolts. The first one I tried to fix with a helicoil which didn’t hold worth a damn(also don’t think the tap was able to go in far enough) and the second bolt I haven’t tried anythin yet, waiting to find someone that might have some ideas. Just wondering if I should drill them and tap them for a size bigger or if I should try helicoiling them again’t and just jb weld the frigin things in! Also how could I tap the threads to get down to the bottom of the hole? All taps I’ve seen are tappered and don’t cut the entire way down.

2012 rancher 420 wont crank

Hey guys I’m now to the forum but ive got a 2012 Rancher 420 and it will not crank. Replaced Fuel pump, Fuel injector, Spark plug, and still wont start. It does have spark at spark plug when I pulled it out and stick it to metal. The fuel pump does come on and make it noises. I pulled the injector off and kept it on the fuel line and it still shoots out fuel. I check the voltage on the injector plug and it has power. Will not crank. It will crank with carb cleaner so its obviously a fuel issue. What could it be?

CVTech/STM High pitch whine problem

Installed my new CVTech/STM combo tonight and it’s producing way more belt whine than I think it should. The whine is similar to the stock clutch whine in that it is consistent with the RPM’s. It differs in that it is a higher pitch and chirpy whine if that makes any sense. In neutral and park the noise isn’t bad at all even when you rev it. When you put it in gear and idle, it’s a little louder. The faster you go, the louder it gets. The STM comes with 6 fiber washers and I believe 3 of them are in the clutch (3 left in the bag). I’m running an OEM belt with about 200 miles on it. I inspected it on assembly and it looked good. The quad doesn’t move or "creep" in gear until 1700/1750 RPM’s. The good news is that the acceleration is MUCH improved!!!! I have a new found respect for the throttle and that’s all I’m going to say about that. Iv’e got to get this whine figured out though. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks!
