well hello all! I have been riding for 25 years (since I was 4) and I just purchased my first Polaris last fall. I’ve been working on my own…everything my whole life. Not that it matters but I did graduate from MMI (kind of a joke school) and worked at Harley for a dealer for 5 years. Now I am a boiler rep in the twin cities, I wanted to be able to afford my own Harley :wink1:… I am here for your expert knowledge and to throw in my two cents when I can.

I have some items in the garage I need to get sold, one being a Dirt Bike. Anyway I have never used Craigslist before and would appreciate any advice members could give me. Like how I list my phone number, anything I need to know about signing up, posting pics,etc. etc. Total newby here at this. You always here the bad stories so I,m a little nervous. I,m good at buying toys but bad at selling them.

I hope im doing this right. I read the sticky on how to post, and watched the youtube video, but my screen looks nothing like the one in the video. Then again im on a phone, not a computer. Dont have a computer. Anyway, im Zack. My screen name is bastardchild, not because im a bastard, or a child, but because thats the name of my current project. Its an ’88 Honda 300 Fourtrax that im mating 2012 polaris RZR 570 front and rear a-arms to. I picked Polaris a-arms because it seems like they have the most aftermarket support in the suspension department than other brands. Plus, when its all said and done i can save my pennies and order portal hubs for it! Anyway, im not gonna start a thread about it yet because I’d like to get farther along in the build instead of dragging it out for months making people who are interested wait for pics. I’ve almost got the front a-arms installed, but thats about it. I try to throw a little money at it every paycheck when i can, but ive got a wife that always wants to go and do, so sometimes i let it sit for a few weeks without messing with it. Plus ive also got a few other projects like a suzuki samurai, and a flat bed gmc topkick that im building. Anyway, enough of that. I’ll tell yall a little about me. Im 39, married to a pretty cool chick, live in orange heights, florida. Love riding 4 wheelers, mudding, camping, fabricating, welding, chillin on the pontoon boat, bonfires, beers, etc… you get the pic. Im a lineman for the city of gainesville, fl. My wife is a Honda fan also and works at Shands hospital in gainesville. I decided to make an account because it seems like every time i google something about 4 wheelers, the answer im looking for tends to be on here or other atv forums, and i gotta say, im a Honda fan since i was knee high to a grasshopper, so it made sense. I grew up riding Honda 3 wheelers, love them, wish they still made them. Ive owned almost every make and model of Honda ATC over the course of my life except for just a few. I think the only 2 ive never owned are the Atc 70 and the Atc 250sx i think. Ive also owned a few Yamaha 3 wheelers and a few Kawasaki 3 wheelers. Anyway, my introduction is getting kinda long and im sure your tired of reading. Im doing this from my phone on my lunch break and its about time to get back to work so im gonna end it here lol. My brake pads keep getting super hard and then my braking suffers? Not sure why. This happened to my stock ones so I just thought it was time to upgrade to new ones. I then got ebc severe duty pads, now about 700 miles later and the pads are hard and my braking sucks. What’s happening?

As I came closer to the top of the mountains my jaw dropped! Sun was a deep reddish orange color and it was just perfect. Heres two quick pics from my iPhone. Enjoy!

OK question for those that shop around or ride with a lot of brand atv’s
BUT do any atv’s come with standard back up lights??
this is a silly question as they can be added pretty easy, BUT I find it funny, that for what 100+ yrs now off road machine(motorcycles and what 40 yrs ATv’s now,or so)

and I have never seen any come with OEM back up lights, they all seem to have headlights of some sorts, so they I gather expect some to be used at night>(and yes headlights were also added for day time safety reasons too)

SO< does anyone know of any atv’s that come with OEM back up light???

pretty simple mod to make life easier and Safer too for them and future owners!

So i need a new winch switch form my winch, its a four terminal, anyone know where i can buy one, the winch is just two wires from the battery to the switch, and the switch is what reverses/forwards the winch, there is no solenoid or anything, where can i get a switch at? a local parts store, or do i have to order one? Waterproof is a must have.
