Installed the10 piece Ricochet skid plate kit today on my 2015 Grizz 700.
At a bit of a loss here. Everything went fairly well. However, the floorboards —I have three of 8 bolts extending way to far on the bottom of the skids..1/4 inch or so. Spacers are in correct position, used the right bolts in the right positions. Looks like I will have to grind/cut off the excess bolts protruding downwards.
Has anyone else run into this? Did I screw up somehow?
Forgive me for starting a new thread I know I saw a thread yesterday that listed a bunch of the weights for after market rims but cannot find it now so I am asking for a bit of info seeing if someone could help me out? My questions is what do the stock 2016 steel wheels weigh or for that matter 2015 or 14 as I’m sure they are about the same?
I read somewhere and people all over this site keep saying that the stock wheels are lighter then aftermarket are they referring to the SE aluminum rims instead of the stock steelies?
I just ordered some ITP SS 316’s today that weight just under 13lbs per wheel. I was looking at the 212’s but seems like everyone I know and their cousin has them on their ride so I wanted something different!I would assume since they are aluminum they would weight less then any steel wheel.
Anyone have any luck with vision wheels my buddy has a set of vision 550’s that look pretty B/A if you know what I mean :moshiz:
Thanks in advance for bearing with my inadequacy at searching here usually I don’t feel this incompetent 😜
Ok I’m replacing my wheel bearings. I know how and what to do, but my question is has anyone here tried to seal them up better with silicon or anything else. And if so how’d it work for you? There all balls bearings and seem to have a decent seal but I was thinking of prolonging them more.
Just double checking that the "reduced depth" AP-02R fits for the rear diff on the ’16 grizz. I recall reading threads about them being too long initially, but it sounds like that has been fixed?
After 5,400km/3,375 miles it ws time for new rubber. Decided on a set of Traxion Grippers – 6 Ply, 7/8" lug, 25 8 12 & 25 10 12 Bias ply. Ordered them from 2Kool, shipping was fast.
Traxion is Canadian Company, no price shock from exchange. They resemble Big Horns, and are worth taking look at.
I got a 2000 600 4×4 been sitting for 6-7years just rebuilt the carb changed oil filter air filter. It fired right up after I put it all back together ran it slow for awhile than ran it up to 30 around the block than took gravel up to 50 came back to the garage. Had a low idle so I turned up the idle a bit to level it out, than just like a switch it idled real high so i turned it back down. I put it in gear to pull in the garage and it stalled fired back up and the oil light was on flickering. I rev’d it up a little bit and it made a sputter on decel. Hoping one of you guys can shed some light as too what it could be
I have noticed on my last several rides that my 2014 Grizzly with 980 miles and 106 hours goes into 4wd intermittently without me hitting the button. It is always in 2wd drive when I park it (button out). It is in 2wd drive when I start out, no 2wd indicator is on etc. I can tell when it goes to 4wd by the harder steering and the indicator light comes on. The 4wd button is never touched. It only does this when it cold (relatively speaking, it is 75-85 degrees) It does this on pavement for about 900′ before I get to the desert. Once it is used a little bit it works fine and the indicator does not come on again in 2wd. When it does come on in 2wd I stop and push the button several times to get it out of 4wd. It usually comes back on at least once until I drive a little farther. The front diff fluid was changed a 200 miles and is at the correct level. Has anyone ever heard of this problem before?
OK I have seen these things now for a while, on hunting shows and such
is it just me or would you have to be crazy to pay 6-7-8 grand for one of these things???
I mean HOW lazy are we getting that you cannot walk into a place to hunt as generations did for yrs and yrs?/
and thats a TON of $$$ for a electric tricycle no??
I mean I aon’t bashing any company from making a living, but ? WOW
