I have a 2005 sportsman 500 HO that is not charging the battery. It has a brand new battery and ECM and CDI. I was out riding today and my battery light started flashing and then the All wheeled drive light went away and I was in stuck in 2 wheeled drive. Went to use the winch and it only made a clicking noise wouldn’t go in or out then it quit nothing would turn on or light up. Tried to pull start it and that didn’t do anything. If anyone has any ideas please let me know don’t wanna have to bring it to a shop.

Can someone recommend a battery for my Sportsman 800 it’s a 2009 I normally get batteries from Walmart because they’re made by Johnson Control but they don’t seem to have a listing for my Polaris. Where else should I look other than the dealer of course. Thanks in advance Jack

I’ve been having trouble starting it and figured it was the battery since its bad, but once I charged it up and got it going it wants to die when it idles lower. When I was going to park I looked behind me and saw a cloud of white smoke so I shut it off right away. There is some oil in the back of th carb and some on the big black tube thing that attaches to the carb.. tht must b bad.. blown head gasket or worn rings?

Hey all, Im still in the market for rad relocate kit for my 00 sp500. I cant seem to locate anyone who carries a kit for my year quad though. Does anyone know where I might be able to get my hands on one?

They make them for 05 and up, so im also wondering if one could be modified to fit my 00, and how different 00 and 05 are when it comes to the radiator

Here’s a look at my plow set up. All new , had to install to make sure everything functioned properly.
What set up are you guys using for the winch cable to your plow. I saw two different set ups for the winch cable.

Hey guys, been lurking the forums but a few days ago I brought home my brand new Grizzly 700. First ATV i’ve ever owned so I decided to take the leap and join the community! I’m from the maritimes region of Canada and I look forward to participating on the forums!

Has anyone run the KT511 and KT515 radial tires? They are 13 and 17 lbs like the bias ply originals, (KT411 and KT415) but 4 ply rated and radial construction.

Extremely lightweight, (13.7lb and 17lb) 4 ply rated radial construction.

I have a 2006 kodiak 450 i was doing some yard work with it today and i shut it off then when i went to start it no start it is getting spark and fuel how do you check timing on these?

This is probably already been discussed but I could not find anywhere. After cleaning clutches does anyone silcone or anything like that before replacing the clutch cover or added protection?
