Its yellow, Outlaw 31", 14" wheeles, snorkels and rad relocate, highlifter lift, fan button. around 1000miles driven, cuted holes in footbord- to make tyres fit.
maybe someone can give me history info about that ride.
so I used to have a ramp to load up a standard utility ATV but forgot the width 🙁
I was hoping if someone can tell me a safe width and/or what width you use for your utility ATV
primarily, I want to use it to load up a sportsman 1000 and a rzr 900 trail width.
heard people are getting by with just 46 47 inches
Thinking about getting one….Anything I should know about? Heard they are one of the most reliable bikes out there.
I have a 570 now and while going up hill, wont go faster than 30MPH hitting max full throttle…figured due to its lack of power. Felt pretty bummed about that. Should have went with a 1000 to begin with. Even in the snow, I can feel it struggle when I hit the throttle
Heard also it can compare to the 1000 can am outty when it comes to power.
Hey guys..owners manual is not really working well for me. I am trying to find research on this but no luck. I even tried emailing polaris, but no reply.
After driving my 07 700 for 10-15 minutes I parked the machine and cleaned the air filter. After I was done I fired up the machine and noticed what seems like excessive pressure in the motor as it turned over a bit but suddenly stopped before firing, similar to a weak battery. I released the starter button and tried again and this time it turned over, but now the motor has a very noticeable knocking/metal on metal noise and is just running poorly. Bad enough I wouldn’t consider driving it.
Seeing as it was running 100% normal before parking it for the air filter cleaning, could there be a wire or connection that came loose or broke during the air filter servicing? I do need to wiggle the airbox a bit to get the lid on and get the clip on the shifter side up over the lid to latch.
Oil is good, filter is clean and I cannot see anything. Just seems odd that it was totally fine before I parked it and now it’ll barely turn over/run.
Picked up a ’95 Xplorer 400 for $40 the other day and yesterday I got it running and the shifter fixed. I replaced the battery and spark plug and put in fresh gas, filled the 2 stroke oil tank and fired it up. It starts and runs good, but idles like crap and just spits and sputters under wide open throttle but under part throttle and under load it runs great with good power. It also leaves a trail of thick blue smoke.
Been working on gas and diesel 4 strokes for many years, but have a limited knowledge of small two strokes, so I was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction of adjusting the carb (going to order a carb kit tomorrow) and the oil injector. It ran last year but this is the first it has ran since and it’s pretty rough (but hey, price was right) so I’m not taking it for granted the carb is adjusted right. Just haven’t managed to track down a manual here in Canada yet.
Alright, so went to take the old girl out for some work around the yard and after about 30 ft noticed that there was something wrong. So after inspection i found that the bolt on the CVT side of the swing arm had almost fallen out.
I pulled and pushed the quad back into the garage and after looking in the manual i took the shock off then the other side of the swing arm bolt.
I cleaned everything up and replaced one of the oil seals and regreased the bearings and attempted to put it back together and that’s where the problem is…..when i try to get the holes on the swing arm to line up with the frame they are out of an inch and i can’t seem to push the swing arm any closer then what it is.
How do i get it back in place? i don’t want to hammer it in!!!
