2016 xmr cut off

So I was riding Saturday, was in a moderate hole, water not over the snorkels, exhaust wasn’t under the water. I had to lean it to the side trying to get t out and I let off the gas and it eventually just shut off. I didn’t try to start it up until i winched it out and was back on dry ground. Checked the oil wasn’t milked. Started up after just a few seconds. Has rode fine ever since. Any ideas on what might have happened?

Superwinch LT2000

I have a 2004 Honda Rancher 350 ES with a Superwinch LT2000. The winch periodically doesn’t let the cable out. I just get a click from the solenoid. It’s very aggravating when I’m plowing snow. I called Superwinch and they sent me out all new wiring. That fixed the problem temporarily. Is there any after market solenoids that I could use? I don’t want to buy a whole new winch when that’s not the problem. I just used jumper cables to verify that. Thanks!!!

HMF Titan QS on my 1k

Couple pix off my phone. Last pic is the stock exhaust with maybe 6 hours of riding on it while I still had the tuner plugged in so it was running rich..

Anyways the Titan QS seems pretty nice so far. As far as swapping mufflers goes it was straightforward just a pita.

Sound is great. Good rumble at idle. Compared to the Yoshi this thing whispers, that being said you can tell it doesn’t breathe half as well. Breathes a ton better than the stock unit though. I see no issues running this down the trails. I tested it out on an open farm with a wood line down one side and the thing isn’t loud even at full tilt. In the woods I would imagine by 100 yards out you wouldn’t know the thing was there.

The bike is not as snappy as it was with the Yoshi, you can tell there’s something missing from the powerband. But again, compared to stock there is a noticeable pickup in the upper mid range.

Now what everyone is wondering…hows the heat…Well I have had the header wrapped since I picked up my XMr at the dealer. As far as plastics getting hot I’ve had zero problems with the Yoshi and tons with stock (see muffler). The Titan Qs is again somewhere in between. The rear fender got really hot and kind of soft, but I could actually touch it as where stock I couldn’t. So this did help a little. Putting it on the trailer at night you could see a slight glow inside the muffler so she was hot. I MIGHT try wrapping the tailpipe and then just beef up the head shields around the muffler or I might try making up my own heat shield for the tailpipe and along the entire side of the machine. But for now, it’s good for trail riding or hitting the mud, just not crawling through the woods (needs some airflow which I didn’t have any in the woods).

So I’d say all in all if you’re looking for something you can use on the trail without losing usable horsepower or going full meltdown this wouldn’t be a bad pick. More than likely will be driving up Mt Washington this coming weekend on it so we’ll see how it does there.
