With the bighorn tires I have to squeeze the sportsman in between the wheel wells of my Tacoma as I’m halfway up the ramp. The sudden belt engagement has given me some real pucker moments making me think I’m going to bust out the back window of my truck. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

I’ve only had my ’13 850xp eps for 4 days. I thought the ride was very smooth when I did a test ride but as the terrain I’m riding gets tougher I’m really pleased. The only quads I have to compare it to however are my old ’94 sportsman 400, honda 400ex, yamaha grizz 660. The grizz I’ve ridden recently. It was more like riding a horse…it’s bouncy and your butt gets tired and sore after awhile. Plus it has a lot of vibration. Maybe it was just this particular 660. The 850 is like riding a sofa. It’s so comfy and the oem suspension really does a great job absorbing roots and such. Can’t wait to get home to ride it.

Did all ’96 magnum 4×4 425 come with pull starts? I do not see one on mine, just what looks like a plug.

Is there some sort of parking brake on these or do I just leave it in gear?

hi all, my wife seen a recon like hers but with pink racks and has to have pink racks now. last weekend I pulled them off lightly sanded them and will begin painting them this weekend (if it is warm enough). my question is, since i’m doing that I thought I might as well go all the way and add pink decals and grips as well. BUT I cannot find any anywhere!!! does any of you guys and gals know where I can find some? I have not looked for the grips but pretty sure I can find them. BTW it is a 2014 Honda Recon. thanks

Any folks on here using an enclosed trailer to haul/store their toys?

I’m looking at a 6×12 enclosed trailer and wondered what are some things to look for. I was looking at a 6×10 but the local trailer dealer has a 6×12 for $100 bucks more, it’s a no brainer.

I just received a 96 Sportsman from a family member who passed away. It’s not in terrible shape, but it is in dire need of some maintenance. What all should I be looking at to change? Obviously oil and I had planned to flush the coolant out and put new stuff in. Just looking for any other input on what to look for.

I live in Alabama and a dealer in Tennessee has dirt cheap prices on Polaris vehicles. I plan on paying cash in all 100$ bills. I know that I would not have to pay tax in Tennessee at the time of purchase. Alabama does not require atvs to be registered. How would Alabama know if I purchased out of state if paid in cash?
