Sunk my RZR 800…what now?

Afternoon everyone,

Checking to see if you might have suggestions on what to do next? On a recent camping trip to northern Arkansas, we were riding down a shallow….well, at least part of it was….creek. It was about 10"-12" deep until the front end of my RZR went into a hole. Before I could get turned around, the 40 something degree water came up to my chest and the only thing sticking out of the water was about one foot of the top of the RZR.

Needless to say, it was completely flooded. I got pulled out and towed back to our camp. The air cleaner had about 1/2 gallon of water in it and the oil was milky, to say the least. Loaded it up and drove it home the next day.

Here’s what I’ve done so far: Drained the oil and removed/discarded the filter; discarded the air filter; removed the belt housing and drained water; spray all connections with WD-40; disconnected the battery…..Replaced oil and filter (5) times till oil no longer shows milky color.

Now, RZR starts and idles for approximately one minute before stopping. Restart and goes for another minute. When I give it the gas, it dies immediately. Suggestions??

Thanks in advance!
