Bought a new 2017 570 Max brought it home rode it for 20 minutes and the DPS quits working. Check DPS scrolls across the display and the check engine light comes on. Let it sit for about 30 minutes (Cooled down ) restarted and no warnings. Ride it again for 10 minutes same thing happens. Bought it from a dealer 2 hours away because we couldn’t find one locally. Now I sit here waiting for them to come pick it up and take it to the shop to diagnose the issue. I found numerous old threads regarding the DPS overheating and stopping working from around 2011 until 2014. Is this a common issue with the newer models or, like always, is life just taking a crap on my parade ?

I’ve just recently purchased a ’16 850 SP and trying to get more familiar with the community and riding in general. I bought it without EVER riding one or a demo for that matter..The closest I’ve gotten to off-roading is driving an old JD Gator around and some motorcross as a kid..Besides those experiences, I’ve always loved the outdoors, things that go fast with engines, ( I’ve had a Boxster S and currently have a ’15 Dodge Challenger Scat Pack), and anything that allows me to explore the great outdoors..I’ve had mixed emotions with this purchase, not the choice of brand, but whether I was going to be able to find places to ride and not have this thing sit in my garage..I live on 50 acres of rugged property and can ride it there, but as you all know, 50 acres gets used up pretty quickly..I’m looking forward to meeting other riders and finding places to ride..So with that said, what is the best way to start finding areas near me to ride?..Is there a web site or forum that could help me with that?..Thanks and nice to be here!
Well I was riding last weekend with some friends. I was riding in last to get everyone on video. At one stop we noticed my entire High Beam Housing had fallen out!
Never realized there was finger screws in the back..I tightened all the screws on the other lights to make sure they are now tight. I don’t know what it needs or what I need to order.
Can you guys look over my photos and point me in the right direction? It would be much appreciated! Thanks!

I have decided against the audio pipes, the sound bars are nice but out of my budget, so I’m looking for like a wake board tower speaker but it needs to have a swivel mount. Any places selling these or open to any ideas for rigging up a sound system that’s not too pricey. Looking in the $100- $300 price range.

I have bough a plastic gas tank from Clarke that came with a duel fuel flange
that is so cheap that it leak gas everywhere, I bough another flange, and that also leak. I have tried to contact Clarke but they don’t answer Here what I have sent Clarke

I have bough a gas tank for my honda trx125 that has a plastic duel fuel flange, that keeps on leaking
I have bough a new duel fuel flange on e-bay and that does not seal properly and leaks.
I would like to know if there is metal petcock that will fit the 2 holes in the tank? I have tried everywhere
on line without any success. Any help would be appreciated

Plan on getting xtr mud lite tires for my 550. Thought I was going to get 26" but now am contemplating going 27".
Looks like I’ll have the clearance but not sure.
Plan on using the stock 12" steel rims.
Anybody have thoughts on issues I will have going with the 27"tires. Bike is totally stock, no lift.

Back in August I picked up this 91 Big Bear 4×4 from a coworker for a price I couldn’t resist. It runs and drives just needs a few things here and there. Looking forward to what this forum has to offer!
Bought this 400 ex earlier this year. Was told it was a 426 w/ hot cam, etc. Smokes some but runs like a beast.
Anyway, was looking at a friends stock 400ex and his exhaust looks different than mine. Definitely different. Can someone identify what I have? The clutch cable is routed differently due to the different shape of the pipes.
Also, the carb looks different. It doesn’t have 2 of the hoses coming off the left side of the carb body, only one hose? Looks the same otherwise. No pics of that but any ideas on the carb?
